"These are very bold and ambitious targets but given the growth of our game over the past five years we believe that one million participants and one million AFL club members can be achieved by 2016."

Currently there are 750,000 people participating in our game and 615,000 people, or one in 36 Australians, are members of AFL clubs.

Big goal to set.
They would be hoping to break into GWS fairly big to break the million members mark.
