LOL.

Out(In)
Miller (Post)
Hislop (Griffiths)
Astbury - Knee (McGuane)
Edwards (Gourdis)
Team
Rance, Gourdis, Farmer
Houli, McGuane, Newman
Martin, Grigg, Deledio
Post, Griffiths, Nahas
King, Reiwoldt, Vickery
Browne, Foley, Cotchin
Jackson, Conca, Batcholer, White (S)
-
Ins- Webberley, Gourdis, McGone, Post.
Outs- Hislop, Astbury, Miller, +1...maybe white or batchelor
-
Out: Astbury(inj), Miller
In: McGuane, Post
Even though I prefer he didn't, I think Miller will remain in the team as he was given a stop-gap role foreign to what he has been playing all season. For that reason alone he will be kept despite his average game.
I would like to see Griffiths in the team but he's ot ready yet so Post will be the next best option.
All of a suddenour tall stocks are looking increasingly weak.... :'(

Yep a few injuries and our lack of depth is exposed big time :-\
-
we will play the same footy all year no matter who comes in or out- go figure.
-
Hislop out. Not AFL standard.
Webberly in let's see if he is.
-
Out: Astbury, Miller
In: Gourdis, McGuane
I'd like to bring in Webberley somewhere, maybe Tuck.
Strange decisions that Hislop and Farmer have got a game before Webberley.
-
Interesting Question IMHO
In the rain and cold would Tucky have been better value than Hislop - If only he could learn some awareness he would never be out of the side? -
Also -Can he play the defensive tagging role in the forward line or cant he concentrate on the task long enough?
In: Goo Gus
Out: Ashby, Browne
We really need a ruckman who can dominate otherwise we will never take the next step.
Usually the club gives players more than a week to step up which is reasonable !
-
What do people think about the idea of putting Vickery as the first ruck, with Post to pinch hit? No Browne in the first 22.

Post was pathetic against Port , simply does not think when he has the ball and does not deserve a game
-
In Tuck, Gourdis, McGuane. Out: Hislop, Astbury, White. Would like to fit in Webberley & Post as well.

Post did not play against Port, his only game this season was against Essendon, where he played ok.

Why didn't you say Port Melbourne then you plonker? Who are the most well known Port? The one in the AFL I would imagine.
LMFAOOOOOOO
VFL form means jacksh1t anyway. Mitch Farmer knows that

Tucky is about as tactically capable as a skinless piece of chicken

Well seeing the thread was about possible changes and the seconds played Port Melb on sat l made an assumption that people like yourself would have an ounce of intelligence but I was incorrect.
Seriously you’re a dead set wanker , you should get outside once and a while

It is certainly time to give Webbers a go, still has some things to work on but needs a chance.

Did he play ofr Coburg on Sat
He was in Sydney yesterday
-
Herewogotiger, if you had an ounce of intelligence you would have realised that Port could/would be mistaken for the AFL side THAT WE PLAYED BEFORE SYDNEY...but clearly you have NFI (as you proved from your posts elsewhere).
You've got NFI dude.
I would happily got outside but it's pretty cold and I've got the fire going. Perhaps you should lighten up a bit.
Yours sincerely
Davey

What do people think about the idea of putting Vickery as the first ruck, with Post to pinch hit? No Browne in the first 22.
has merit, but not yet. Vickery is only just starting to get some confidence and getting bashed from pillar to post as no 1 ruck may set him back.
next year perhaps.

Post as a pinch hitter not a bad idea. Although I would like really Tyrone up forward. Though having said that Browne and Graham are just not good enough

Herald-Sun's Footy Barometer - Round 13
ON THE BLOCK: Young ruckman Andrew Browne tried hard again but was beaten by Mark Seaby at the SCG.
ON THE CUSP: Angus Graham*, David Gourdis, Ben Nason, Jeromey Webberley, Shane Tuck.
MICK WARNER’S FORECAST: Wasteful kicking for goal by the Swans flattered the Tigers on Sunday. Jonathan Brown looks primed for a big one and there aren’t many healthy Richmond defenders left to go with him at the Gabba on Saturday night. Luke McGuane should be fit to replace the injured Astbury, and Graham is likely to come in for Browne (if he gets off a front-on contact charge at the VFL tribunal Wednesday night). David Gourdis has impressed in the VFL in recent weeks.

Not sitting in the freezing cold Brandman stand he wasn't
Big black X from me when he went into a crucial marking contest one handed - resulted in a turn over & goal to the Swans (in the 2nd or 3rd for memory)

At the start of the year I thought we'd picked up a real hard nut in Griggy :-\

Richmond - In the Mix
RICHMOND
Luke McGuane (general soreness) was a late withdrawal from the team defeated by the Sydney Swans, but should be right to come back in for the away clash against the Brisbane Lions. The Tigers will need to replace David Astbury who suffered a knee dislocation against the Swans. David Gourdis, Shane Tuck and Jayden Post were among Coburg's best players in a team beaten by Port Melbourne by 104 points.

Well that's not going to happen considering he has a broken ankle.

The report above says he was in the best players for Coburg ?? So which one is it ? He was in our best or he was pathetic ?

Gee, ya reckon? Surely we could prop him up on a crucifix and leave him in the centre. Geez, he might even be able to knock it together himself.

WP I warned you about the Bradman albeit too late. I observed from my warm, dry and toasty seat in the Trumper stand that you guys were really freezin your titties off down there.
Re Grigg, Oh yes I remember that one you mentioned! :banghead I screamed "Both hands Grigg" at the time. Noob Swans fans looked at me perplexed. NFI!
Grigg also had a couple of nasty turnovers by foot in the corridor that killed us. I think he might be saved by our current lack of height in the backline.

Yes you did but I wasn't in the rain thank goodness - upper deck of the Bradman stand. I think the ticket said "Bradman stand - TOP" :rollin

Agree his disposal by foot the last 4-5 weeks has been very poor I reckon

Wont happen. Would be surprsied if Hislop gets dropped after one game
Outside of Thursfield - every player has been given a number of consecutive games (at least 3) think same will apply with Tommy
Griffiths (IMO) will be given another week or 2 at Coburg
-
What's the deal with Nason? Mini-me would simply love to see him at the Gabba

was injured in the first half for coburg on the weekend and didnt return to the field
