How can we expect Hardwick to coach these guys to the finals.
Its plain and simple, our list still needs a lot of work.

We should have beaten them anywhere but i think we need to learn how to win at home before we try somewhere else!

Eff you all. I'll give you the Dirty Dozen:-
Jackson, Thursfield, McGone, Farmer, Herslop, White, Browne, Graham, Webberley, Connors, Morton, Edwards.
Yes sir, its a roll call of the mentally fragile, the pea hearted and those who sit down to pee.
And that's not even counting guys like Tuck, Miller and JON Mk II who we know won't be there next year.
Depressing.
I'm off for the mother of all binge eating sessions.

Without even batting an eye-lid. But as others have said, even wholesale changes to the list isn't the answer. The problem is the culture is well and truly stuffed.

Funny everyone going straight for McGuane. Don't get me wrong he is crap and he'll be upgraded at season's end but apart from one or two standard blunders he played one of his better games today

Thats the thing Black its not about today its about him and most of our players from day one.
If we had won today some, actually a fair few would say Edwards, Mcguane etc etc are going good bla bla
we get caught up in this insipid meaningless wins and therefore miss the bigger picture.
We have about 12 players who play okay when they want but the bottom line is they are useless at this level.
we hold onto them in the hope they will come good. Development at Punt road is the worst in the league thats why you have players like Thursfield who still look 12 yrs old with skinny girl arms. He belongs at Commercial Road with Bob Browne that bloke along with half of our list

You're right and the club would know it too you'd hope. We'll cut deep into the list again and hopefully trade wisely

umm connors aint playing ::)...tbh we'd be a much better side with the likes of him and MM in it

Connors is undisciplined and Morton drifts in and out like the tide. Where is the consistency. If we are going to judge a player on our list in reference to Connors for five years as he debuted in 2007 has played 20 odd games out of about 90 since his debut in Geelong in Round 18 2007 and you still claim we'd be a better side....... Kid has had his chances injuries form discipline has let him and the club down thems are the breaks. Had enough of this hanging on to what ifs who have talent show little been on the list forever and a day in the hope they might take us to the big dance one day. Pass if he is so good, trade him and let someone else invest what we have for the paltry return. I for one have had enough of him.

It seems youve never invested on the stockmarket. Buy Low and Sell High especially for non core assets. ;D

depends on what is offered up for him tidy man. very few players you wouldn't trade for the right price, just that in many cases what would make it worth while would never be offered.

Long term he is taking us nowhere. A few good games sprinkled here and there won't benefit the RFC long term. Sell him now while we may get something for him.
Short term pain long term gain.
Next time we make finals circa 2 or 3 years from now trust me he won't be on the list.

I agree Tux , Connors and Morton are lazy and undisciplined. Delist
