Jakobi didn't play today for Coburg seniors and Dea's effort was nowhere near good enough to deserve a promotion. The rest I wouldn't disagree with MT2010.

thursty is more reliable with the ball in hand. and he's not built like an upside down bowling pin or goes to ground as easy as one.

Also would like Jakobi and Contin to play.
Post to play the season out.

Who stops the goals  8)
Mcguane. 90% of the time Mcguane is a better kick than Thursty. The other 10% he kicks a shocker. I like Thursty but he plays as a 3rd tall, while Mcguane usually takes the most dangerous tall at full back. Post has more height and weight than Thursty and provides more run and foot skill. He's also more athletic. Post must be played this week and I'm pretty sure Thursty would be the one making way in 2012

and imo, blokes who fold their little arms and say,"Well I'm just not playing then" are
selfish,deluded jerks.

I can't understand the man love for Bowden or GAspar.

Both cried and poo themselves when the going got tough.

LMAO@ Bowdens acts of courage over the years, especially "the rushing of the behind" event that basically ridiculed the spirit of the game.

Hey hey Oxy.
Bowden has done more for RFC than anybody else in the history of the game.
The Jack Dyer statue will be taken down and Bowdo's will be erected with him holding the ball up ala 4 minutes into a quarter slowing the game down and playing kick to kick with his brother racking up 38 uncontested stats.

On so many levels I find that funny Ramps.  Many of those levels suggest it would be a shake up that the club REALLY needs, not anything like some of the cosmetic changes in the past 30 years.  Go for it Brackets!!   :thumbsup

Mcguane usually takes the most dangerous tall at full back.

LMFAO
McGuane hasn't played FB all year, he's the second tall and when Grimes comes back in he'll be the 3rd and when Astbury comes back in McGuane will be playing for Broadbeach at CHF  :lol 8)

Mcguanes opponents. Usually takes the best forward in the first half of season. A couple of times Rance took the best forward but I would have expected Mcguane to take them usually but Rance is taking them to learn

Round 1-Waite-0 goals
Round 2-Reiwoldt-3 goals
Round 3-suspended
Round 4-suspended
Round 5-Hansen-1 goal(Petrie kicked 5 or 6 on Rance. Dunno why Mcguane wasn't playing on him)
Round 6-Clarke(Brown didn't play)-1 goal
Round 7-Mayne/McPhee-3 goals(Rance took Bradley who kicked 4)
Round 8-Jones-2 goals(Rance took Minson who kicked 4)
Round 9-Hille-1 goal(Rance took Ryder)
Round 10-Schulz?(Can't remember)
Round 12-Reid-2 goals(Rance took Goodes)
Round 13-Clarke-2 goals(Rance took Brown)
Round 14-Petterd/Jurrah-2 goals
Round 15-didn't play
Round 16-Hille?(can't remember)
Round 17-Lynch-0 goals
Round 18-Hawkins-3 goals(Rance took Podsiadly)

Rance has been given some #1 jobs since midseason mainly but previous years Mcguane has usually taken #1 job. Rance is getting good experience

The bearded freak had Rancey standing next to him. Bearded freak is Ports #1, so obviously Rance went to him ;D

yep nice list of #2 forwards, resting ruckmen and spuds McGuane has been entrusted to hold this year as our full back and #1 defender...  8)

Stopping ability not quite. Has done some great jobs and some not so great jobs this year but will be better in 2012  :thumbsup
Ideally I'd like to see Rance, Grimes and Post as the 3 talls

Rance isn't getting the best forward to learn, he's getting them because he has earned the right, .....more so than mcguane any way.

Rance is playing as good a footy as mcguane has ever played in his life and he aint gunna get better. Rance should though.

mcguane needs to be traded this year as his worth is just going to go down from here on in.

He is now in the back/up depth catagorie

Either way Mcguane is pretty handy depth. Thursty looks gone, Moore will be in a retirement home soon and Gourdis might be gone too  ;D

but mcguane probably has more value than thirsty at the trade table.

GWS may be interested in thursty but they wouldn't offer too much

Will be interesting. Thursty and Edwards could have interest from freo and port respectively

I wont be happy if Posty doesnt get these final 5 games in the seniors. He has been given a fair go to string some games and form in one position.Has been good at the burgers to.Hislop and Farmer were given a extended run and were poor so why not Posty ??.Take out Thursfield and Mcgaune not up to it.

Freo didn't want Thursty last year despite the media rumours at the time. Thursty has no trade value.

GWS would be the only option and that would be for a 4th rounder at best IMHO

Yeah they did just didn't get the deal done. But his value is zero now.

They might still be keen. Grover will be retiring soon and they might slap Thursty in the PSD.
