True but it will gived them another 2-3 years of being left alone by the media which is probably what they want.... under-achieving bunch of cheats

I actually think it is a reasonable question Ox.

Apart from their "Debt Demonlition" campaign (which granted was significant) I am not sure they have improved off field in a business sense and ultimately that's what boards are there to do - to oversee the improvement of the business side of the club to enable it improve  & invest in its core activity = Football.

On top of that he was supposed to have "united" the MFC. On the surface to outsiders looking in they currently seem more fractured than ever before with so much dis-unity

That's right.
As such,we're a step in front.
It must have been hard for both him and the board.
Probably best he has stepped down for all involved.

His health is far more importnat than the MFC IMHO
