Poor bloke! Geez suffering a stroke at only 28 years of age :( :gobdrop. Best wishes for his future health.
-
Yeah nasty business. Staggering
Though I must say it's disappointing they way his manager is carrying on in the papers about his contract and being paid. Wouldn't have thought it was the time - the blokes recovery and long term health is more important ::)

Says a lot about the brains of footballers, when a loss of blood supply has negligible effect on their intelligence.

Rotten luck to him and wish him a speedy recovery.
BUT i noticed he was still driving his car yesterday - i would be pretty wary of getting into a car with someone who's just suffered a stroke. And recently there was a case where a driver was jailed for 10 years because he was involved in a fatality knowing he suffered from epilepsy.
Hope he gets well quick, but keep him off the roads me thinks!

Yeah I noticed that to Moi and thought it was strange.
When I was growing up our next door neighbour suffered a minor stroke and IIRC he wasn't allowed to drive for a few months.

Yep, my daughter hasn't been able to drive a car for the last 10 years due to a medical condition. She can, but if she has an accident due to her illness and kills either herself or some innocent, be pretty hard to live with. Now, there's a legal precedent, so be foolish in any regard.

He's a good player, hope he can make it back.
