Title: Demetriou wants 9-point supergoals in the H/A season
Post by: mightytiges on September 23, 2011, 05:47:17 PM: the CEO said he was also a fan of the pre-season nine-point supergoal being brought into the season proper.

“I am a fan of the nine-point goal – that would encourage long kicking and high-scoring. It will be long after I am gone but I suspect the nine-point goal will be good for the game in the home and away,” Demetriou told Melbourne’s Press Club.

“That is just a personal view.”

But no way that I would want it in the normal H/A season. Terrible decision if it ever gets brought in.

Andy D has lost his marbles ::). Next we'll have Adrian Anderson and his push polling on the AFL website where you can only vote in favour of this stupid idea ::).

1 supergoal = 9pts, + an extra 9pts if you can down a holoumi gyros in the ad break
