Fresh from the Bay this morning ;) Gotta love this time of year both on and off the water ;D ;D

I think it would have been polite to obscure the faces of the fish too TFT. Fish have rights too.

lol.....Nah it's actually a former place of employments logo but now I think about it,  they were mad Geelong supporters ;)

If they were in port philip, I would of hucked em both back in with a kiss, they look like they are quite old and probably chocka block with mercury, you can see grey hairs and wrinkles.

C'mon Owl, if you were a fisherman you would know that the snapper at this time of year a fresh in from Bass Straight ;) The only come into the bay to spawn and don't hang about long enough to get all juiced up on heavy metals 8) 8) The Rock Ling and Cod on the other hand..... :chuck :chuck :chuck

If they old schnapper they been coming back for up to 30 odd years, just what I was told by a marine biologist but I don't know poo from shinola if they oldies or not. :thumbsup

Pffffttttt.....Marine Biologist, what would he know about fish :wallywink :lol :lol

Nah bro, these fish are about 5 yo tops, the big bad Schnapper  normally have Giant lumps on there head's and Nose's and would weigh well in excess of 10KG's, you general Bay run snapper are between 3 to 8 KG's and will range in age from 5 to 15 years ;)
It's also not proven that the same fish coma back to the same place every year, Western Port is home of the large Munters, it is believed that mix it up between the two bays from season to season 8) 8)

Nice to see that the illusive Carofish is still being caught in these waters.
