Most likely the same things he said yesterday on Trade week radio.
Hopefully 3aw ask him about Morton.

Cameron just on (popped out from having dinner). Here's a summary:

* Getting close with Maric. Another meeting today. Next 24 hours expect it to be done. We've offered our 2nd rounder pick 37. They would consider a player. We've asked them to go away and come back and name a player we'll agree with. Maric was nominated by Blair Hartley and Hardwick likes the way he plays. Cameron said he would be in our best 22 (means Gus and Browne become back-ups if there's an injury).

* When trade week originally started no clubs had list manages so you needed a week to get organised. Now all clubs have list managers. U17 mini-draft picks has held up this week so in future without that you could shorten it. However next year it goes for 3 weeks so he doesn't see the day we return to a 3-4 day trade period.

* Contract talks with Hardwick will start soon, end of this year or start of next. We haven't got in discussions about a new contract yet.

* 2011 was a patchy year. Found the emergence of a young midfield, Rance, Vickery with 35 goals and developing ruckwork. As a side less consistent that what we need to be.

The players we'll happily trade away are obviously Connors, Morton and Nason. Looks like Tas is right about Connors based on what Cameron said tonight.

As far as Maric walking into our 22, that would probably be the case for any 200cm ruckman we could get our hands on when compared to poor old Gus lol.

Dimma presumably is safe to survive beyond 2012 already if we are prepared to re-sign him before the 2012 season starts.

Don't think you can say that. I would have thought any contract negotiation would take a while so you would start the process a far way in advance. Not something you would want or need to rush. Would think early on there could be months between meetings.

If Dimma is still unsigned by the start of next season then the longer discussions go for the more the media will carry on about whether Hardwick will survive especially if we have an ordinary start to 2012.

You'd think he called a press conference and announced it.

If he wasn't a muppet then you'd think he say "we're not going to worry about that until we're into next season".

If what he said is true then he's a effwit. Why start contract talks soon or early next year? Wait and see how we go.

He's not effing stalin.

You really think this decision is made by him alone and CEO and board have no say?

 :huh

No, but his input be the most imporant considering he's the list manager & General Manager of footy, would it not? Of course he's not running the show but he's got a lot of power for a dud. surely it would be his idea when the talks start? or are the board going to come to him and do his job for him :lol

depends what you call a fan.

Doesnt change the fact that there are plenty of other people involved in the decision making process, yet only one gets blamed.

So why not say that. "I don't represent the board or the CEO and so I cannot comment on when and where we will start discussions on another contract but we have a process we will follow in due course. However, we very happy with the progress of the team under Hardwick blah blah blah"

He is a bit of a tool Al.

Would you check out his ars if  he walked in front of you? If yes, you are a weird fan - like Jack who is a weird fan but in a different bunny boiling way

perhaps he is a tool, but he gets blamed for anything at the drop of a hat.

for a start he's a tool coz we dont want to hear about it now, then he's a tool because we shouldnt be negotiating the contract now, and now he's a tool because he tells it how it is rather give a politicians answer.

He is a tool, but have you ever heard Neil Balme or Geoff Walsh make such a limpgotted statement as what you've suggested? It's the Football Manager's job to field those questions and respond according to his position.

Eff i wish we could replace this bloke. Steven Icke is looking for a job? Anyone?

Gerks, they do it all the time when it suits them.
Of all clubs, Richmond is the one that leads with the chin when talking about coach contracts. For all his faults, the way Wallace was harassed in the last year of his contract was unbelieveable.

Why fuel the inevitable fire?

what about this from Bomber?

Quote
"We're just trying to go under the radar and get something done quietly," Thompson said.

"We've targeted someone that we really want and if we get him, it would be great.

"We're after someone who can add to our midfield."

 :lol
your now flying above the radar.

Why cant our club do that  :banghead :banghead
