Brad Miller has been moved from the rookie list to the senior list on the RFC website.
Has he been upgraded? Did we effectively swap mitch morton for brad miller? Has Craig Cameron finally gone too far and upgraded Miller despite the objections of the football dept? :help
What is going on? :huh
don't hold back now, let it all hang out boys and girls. :outtahere

LMAO Al <3 Miller

I don't think the club has taken Miller off the senior list on the RFC website since he was promoted earlier in the year. Having said that he probably will be promoted for 2012 if he decides to play on :P :scream.
-
Thursfield, Nason and Taylor will be delisted. Could be a few others gone too :pray
-
I think he deserves a place on the senior list (min wage of course ;D) based on his onfield performance this year coupled with the face that we no one else on the rookie list that deserves to be elevated plus there is little depth to this years draft.
If we are intending on getting rid of Taylor (a given now), Nason, Farmer, Gourdis with Moore to potentially retire just to begin player movements then there should be room for Miller to keep up his 2011 role until he is pushed out next year by Griffiths/Post.
-
Miller should be delisted alone for allowing his son to become a Carlton supporter :P

Maybe he choose to support them when he was playing for the demons.
But yeah he needs to get him to support Richmond ASAP.

Miller should be delisted immediately unless he gets his son to support the tigers! Probably goes to a school where every kid tells him Richmond is poo!
-
Hasn't been moved back to the rookie list. Will re-sign as a rookie soon.

Delist him just on these grounds lol

Excellent decision! Millers inclusion was a masterstroke by the RFC in 2011 and I look forward to him getting into the thick of things again in 2012. :clapping
It's time we give credit where credits due. He was always there for the 1%ers and had some excellent goal assists which seem to go unnoticed by the Miller detractors here.
He also provides us with another tall forward option and straightens our attack.
He's a great motivator, extremely fit and really sets an example to our younger players.
How can that be bad? Do we have someone who can do a better job at what I just mentioned?? the short answer is no. If Post, Astbury, Griffiths and Co can rise to the occasion and become good enough to pop him off his perch then I am certain he would graciously make way and still give the club his 100% commitment because that is the kind of guy he is.
IT'S MILLER TIME BABY! YEAH!! :thumbsup
Oh and of course, he has a super hot Wife who may be seen one day in a Match day Jumper and tiny shorts. :pray

This article says he's staying on the rookie list FWIW.
BRAD MILLER TO MAKE A DECISION
BRAD Miller has been offered a new deal at Richmond, but is still considering his future after what should be considered an extremely successful year.
He was hailed as a superb clubman, kicked 17 goals from 14 games, and helped the club's offensive structure by taking the focus off Jack Riewoldt.
But with Richmond still keen to develop its talls like Ben Griffiths, David Astbury, Jayden Post and Matt Dea, the club cannot guarantee him games.
He would remain on the rookie list if he stayed on next year and potentially play only a handful of games.
He is to come back to the club soon with a decision, but he can't lose either way.
Richmond's decision to extend his career paid off, and even if he played a year in the VFL next season he can hold his head high.

Would have no problem keeping Miller on another year.
Is a good character to have around. Young players need guidance and seasoned campaigners around.
He is no star, but is far from our worst. As tiga said, as soon as somebody else is ready to match or trump his output then he will drop straight down to the Burgers. Hopefully Griff can do this next year.
A forward line with Vickery, Jack and Griff has the potential to be extremely potent. :thumbsup

Agree. Who cares if Miller is a nice bloke, one goal a game for a tall forward is crap, even if it is more of a HFF position at the tiges. This has been Miller's problem his whole career, he only kicks one goal a game! It just isn't good enough for a tall forward. He is absolutely useless unless he gets it delivered lace out, has got no loose ball skills and cannot reach below his knees. He is an awful kick.
Alright he gave off a few handballs that ended up in goals. This does not make him the messiah. If he plays in front of Post again this year then you might as well get Fevola.
-
May as well rookie Mick Malthouse. He would provide good leadership, be able to teach the young blokes plenty and do stuff all on the field.
Malthouse is the playing equivilant of Miller.

Post is a backman. I'd rather see Astbury or Griffiths up forward than Miller or Post.

that's bloody brilliant

Great I will look forward to him kicking those crucial points

The updated players' list on the RFC website has Miller on the senior list and zero rookies.
