Knee problems tonight :(
-
Hurt it in the first 10 minutes apparently :-\.
-
They just showed him walking around so hopefully its not to bad.
-
okay his going down to the rooms the commentators just said.
-
Dont think its too bad.
just landed heavily.
-
Has there ever been a more over exposed, more talked about, featured in the media etc player based on performance and ability?
-
everyone should be entitled to their time in the sun :shh

Yes. Rene Kink
-
LOL smokey. Too true :yep.
Kingy wouldn't get a game in a top side. In fact all 3 Tigers tonight I could see get forced out of our best 22 by the time we become a top 4 side in a few years time.
Ch 10 said Kingy told them the knee is not too bad but he wouldn't come back on. He landed straight on his knee rather than hurting it twisting or bending it the wrong way.
-
Eade said Kingy has a jarred knee so he'll be okay.

Daniel Jackson. Oh, wait, us Club 80 members are the only ones who give this bloke the credit he deserves. He is just great.
So is Kingy.
-
So are you.
:bow

:gotigers
I hope Jacob's knee is ok.
-
They may have to do so without Richmond small forward Jake King, who jarred his knee and is rated only a 50-50 chance to recover in time for next week.

HUN saying Kingy is out of the 2nd IR game because of his knee injury
"JAKE King's International Rules adventure is over, with a knee injury ruling him out of Friday's second Test against Ireland.
The Richmond forward suffered a medial ligament strain early in the 44-point loss to Ireland in the first Test. It is understood to be at least a three to four-week injury.
It is likely to cause a disruption to the start of his pre-season training schedule with the Tigers.

Bloody great :banghead :banghead
-
As long as he is ready for round 2....
-
It's not as bad as what it could of been I guess.
But injuries like this could have clubs second guessing allowing there top paid/best players to play in these international rule games because at the end of the day they don't count for much.
-
I'll tip this will end his career.
Interupted pre-season means he struggles and goes out of the team, never really recovers and spends rest of contract in VFL.
Bad luck, Jake.

Modified program for King
richmondfc.com.au
Mon 31 Oct, 2011
Richmond livewire Jake King will have a modified program to start his pre season campaign after suffering a knee injury in the International Rules first test on Friday.
King landed heavily on his right knee in the early stages of the match against Ireland at Etihad Stadium, and scans revealed a medial ligament strain.

That could have been Chimp's knee
Well done Jake, another bullet for the team :bow
-
3-4 weeks shouldn't affect Kingy's preseason long-term. He would've got a 'rest' after the IR series for a week or two anyway.
-
Kingy is up on the Gold Coast with the Australian team despite being injured. Here's a clip with Jake being interviewed about his knee and all.
