This year's biggest improver was probably a toss up between Vickery and Rance. Who do you think will step up in 2012 and be our biggest improver?
-
I'm hoping it will be one/all of Post, Astbury or Concanuts
-
Post, Astbury and Griffiths

Post, Astbury and Griffiths
That's what we need :thumbsup
-
Batchelor and conca
-
Conca
-
Griff and Derrickx.
-
Conca - he'll have his first full preseason barring injury.
Griffiths - hopefully his shoulders are finally 100% so he can play close to a full season.
Foley - After missing the best part of two years, he should improve with a season of footy under his belt now and with another full preseason to come.
-
I am pretty sure 2 of my picks for this last year were Connors and Mitch :rollin
Batchelor and Conca and I really hope Griff
-
Helbig
-
Connors still only 23.
Could come good.
-
and if none of these guys get serious about their pre-season this year, again, then what?
-
I'm going to put a smokey up there and say..
Edwards..
I wanted him gone 3 weeks ago but now we have him, it's either make or break this year I think, may as well get on the kid.
Think the most obvious one will be Conca.

Wipe them like a dirty backside

Jacko will also keep improving. Poor bloke gets bashed in here, but honestly he improved 2 areas of his game in 2011. Those areas were composure and skill. Most of the time he has done the right thing in his career but in the past he'd occasionally spray a kick on the full or miss a target by hand or foot, but in 2011 he was better by foot. Didn't spray any on the full and kicked some important goals which he would have missed in past seasons. He looks more composed under pressure now too and actually does some clever things every now and then. He's 25, has plenty of size and grunt and experience. In 2011 he was in rehab most of the preseason so he did pretty well. If he keeps improving as a player he'll become important to our 22

Who is Jacko? Jackstar? Or are you talking about Dan 'the man' Jackson?
-
Tito Joe Jackson
-
I reckon WAT for sure, he is going to keep shut on the shedster for at least three weeks
-
Post
-
One outside the square, Hardwick needs to be.
-
in what way?
-
The same way a kid who is going into his third year on the list needs to make the leap to regular player.
I'm not sure anyone knows if he can coach yet, I think there are questions over his match day work.
By years end he needs to have convinced everyone he is an AFL coach.
-
You're meant to have blind faith mate.
-
agree with that br.
Up to now his primary aim hasn't been to win matches so it's not so much as an improvement but lets see if you have it or not.
-
You're meant to have blind faith mate.
Well thet blind has been taken care of after what you showed me.
Some things you can't unsee.
I am a little turned on though, I admit.

Good points you make TBR
Would think even with a contract extension the microscope will certainly be focused as it probably should be 3rd year in

Oh God Pope please, it's been make or bloody break for him for years........he is broken..
Biggest improver....Grigg.
-
got a gut feeling we might see tyrone step up even more
-
forgot grigg was even on the list
-
Has to be the logo, the old logo morphed from a photo to an animation.
-
Who I'm confident of improving: Grimes (specials), Helbig, Conca, Griffiths.
Who has to improve in 2012: Dea, McDonald, Griffiths, Astbury, Post.
-
Post, Astbury, Conca, Helbig, Grimes and Griffiths. Hope Derrickx progresses as well
-
Said Derickx last year. I think he has the greatest potential to improve but I doubt he will be given the chance in the team next year like he would have recieved this year if he had of remained injury free.
Conca, Post, Griffiths and Grimes are the most likely but if Lids moves to the middle and the tag continues to go to Cotch and Dusty then my guess is - Lids and Foley. Just hope Maric can give our midfield first use of the ball at least half the time :pray
