The only thing now that could make this news any worse is if, during this peanuts appearance on SEN, he announces the new contract is for any longer than 2012 :banghead :banghead

Brief Summary
* They mentioned about Jacko and Tucky re-signing. No mention of how long they have been re-signed up for though.
* Jacko, Miller, Newy had an extra week off compared to the young guys.
* Jacko said he's already been going in to the Club for a few days so it's not stressful returning first day needing to catch up on everything and do all the tests in one day.
* The playing group has got a run around the Tan tomorrow.
They are now going off-topic asking callers about their dream job.
-
A bit more....
* Jacko was offered 2 years midway through the year and it was all sorted. Around the same time he got in new management and left it all to the them while he headed off overseas. Jacko mentioned many players out of contract wait for so-called ASAs to be sorted out where there may or not be an extra 1-2% available. That's why a number of players are re-signed at this time of year. Jacko said he heard the rumours of him being traded because talks were being held off but the above reason was why.
* The group heads off to Pheonix at the end of the month. Jacko said it hasn't been announced by the Club yet so he better not talk about it.
* We concentrate more as far as fitness on training in heat chambers. Altitude training only works if you keep it up. If you only do it for 3 weeks then 3 weeks afterwards you're back to the way you were before. There's altitude tents you can sleep in but it's all quite an expensive way of doing things. He admitted he was more an athlete than a footballer so he believes he's quite fit and if I heard him right he said he didn't feel that much of a benefit from altitude training.
* IIRC Jacko said they have around 6 weeks training leading up to Christmas and then get a couple of weeks off over Christmas before getting back into it in January.

Cant believe we gave this tool 2 years! Vfl player at best and thats pushing it.
How many times will that elbow be raised in the next 2 years? and how many trips will he take to the tribunal? and how many turnovers will there be?
They should have asked him that.

Bit of a joke, this bloke wouldnt get a game at any other afl club and he's getting 2 years with us
