Post by: one-eyed on December 11, 2011, 10:57:43 PM
What is your membership category in 2012 if you're brave enough to say?

Oldies here will be the longest as members ;).

Gold for me too (but only 12 years).

Hopping on the 2001 bandwagon obviously worked a treat  :rollin.

Bronze for me.  I've been a member off and on (affordability while raising 5 kids) since the early 90's and for 9 of the last 11 years but I missed 2 years a few years back due to business failure and bankruptcy.  That's why I'm an advocate for total years of membership, not consecutive years, with regard to the Rewards and Recognition program.  Sometimes personal circumstances can prevent membership for a short period and it doesn't seem fair to me to then disregard all the previous years of membership/support.

Was afraid to answer since this sort of thing often turns into a peeing contest. Only two years for me. Never had one growing up, in my teens or my early 20s. Dad is a platinum member but hates it when parents shove their teams down their kid's throats. I never had much incentive growing up in QLD to become a member, so it wasn't until I moved back down here a few years back and made a few mates to go to the footy with did I think about getting one.

I've been a member since save our skins, those days haunted me and I've always scrounged up the cashola to subscribe to the dream. Had a reserved seat since 1994.

im with you on that,

i have been a member for 20 odd years all up, and the shock i got when told because i hadnt had a membershp while overseas for 5 years meant i had to start again was numbing..  Oh well its only a minor detail, if someone thinks they're mightier than thou because of membership status, they're not much of a person and probably a narcissist anyway..  :shh

46 and 32 next year.

Man it was such an adventure for a kid traveling the burbs back in the day.

LoL at going through the old memberships have left, found 1986 was still a junior membership  :rollin
You gotta remember it was not such a big deal back then.

roflmao at a bunch of us walking in the ground and the gate dudes 'Have a shave sonny' before heading straight to bar.

And at least I had a membership when we were in the 2000s at some stage. :shh

are you guys trying to say that the regular supporter are as important as a Gold member or a Coterie? Pfffft.  The Coteries know everything...even the players :shh
