Tiger Jack Riewoldt prepares to cut loose
by: Michael Warner

January 19, 2012
RICHMOND star Jack Riewoldt is set to resume full training after a summer of restricted duties.
A banged-up Riewoldt carried several injuries through last year and required four post-season operations on his hips, a finger and left ankle.
The Tigers have nursed him through the pre-season but will let him loose next week.
"He'll be right on track for Round 1," Richmond assistant coach Justin Leppitsch said yesterday.
"He wants to get out there and the (rehabilitation) program has run its course."
But because of NAB Cup scheduling, the Tigers will not play Riewoldt until week three of the pre-season competition.
The Tigers face Hawthorn and North Melbourne in week one at Etihad Stadium on February 17, then travel to Perth to play Fremantle.
Newly installed vice-captain Trent Cotchin, who suffered a minor calf strain after Christmas, will also rejoin the main group next week.
The health of the Richmond list to date means only the suspended Jake King should be unavailable for the club's season-opening clash with Carlton at the MCG on March 29.
Defender Daniel Connors, who missed the club's Arizona training camp to deal with personal issues late last year, has also returned to training.

For a second I thought it said Tigers prepare to cut Jack Riewoldt loose.
What a tease.
