Most if not all premiership sides have at least one player who is an enforcer - someone who goes in hard and puts fear into the opposition whenever they go near the ball. We know there's been a clear push by us to recruit bigger bodied footballers over this offseason. So with that in mind who do you all think out of those on our list will or at least could end up our enforcer?

Martin
Arnott
Ellis?
-
Long term Dusty
Short term to medium term Dusty & Maric (the Big one) ;D

Rance. Unit.

i think early on we mightfind that our new ruckman throws his weight around quite a bit
-
Morris!!

We will actually miss the much maligned McGuane's aggression in the backline. Sure he gave away a few frees but if you can get a little corkie in, then it is worth it. Forwards are just pretty boys who want to get their name in the paper, McGuane recognised this, and treated them accordingly. All of the young players coming into the backline will need to step up in this area.

Agree with those that said Maric. From all accounts he seems to thrive on the physical contest.
Morris, as WAT said could be another.
-
Arnott has no reason not to be
-
Nahas :lol
Martin.
-
Maric, its in his job description
Vickery, its in his nature
-
Arnot supposedly crunched a few Hawks players today.
-
Arnott has no reason not to be
Except his kicking may prevent him obtaining and cementing a spot in the first 22.
Morris on the other hand can kick and will play from round 1 ;) He is one angry angry man at training.
-
Gus graham, boy is he a unit, he makes oppoents quake just looking at'em sideways...Look no further than the big no 25 :shh
-
Martin, Batchelor, Maric, Morris, Arnott, Vickery perhaps? looked angry on field in 2011...
No one stands out just yet, but we have a few legitimate prospects :thumbsup The way batch smashed Swan with a tackle in his 4th or 5th game was fanbloodytastic

I like it when Dooks acts like he has inside info ;D

Agree. McGuane has been relegated to back up but he's always been a hard nut that sticks up for his teammates.

Rance won't pit up with much tripe in the back line. I remember his square up on Franklin after Buddy Love picked off Cousins. Beautiful left fist to the jaw when Buddy was at the bottom of the pack. :thumbsup

Incumbant is Kingy and he will remain that way for a while yet whilst the other boys develop.
