Just listening to 3aw and hunch mentioned an alleged punch up involving Richmond players. Any truth??

to get heated in a scratch match is not unheard of but to have a punch up at a mates wedding is ridiculous.

Really not interested in this Crap Tigra. For all we know they could have snotted a few Mouthy Collingwood ferals passing by giving a bit of lip and put it down in their log books as pre-season training. :thumbsup

if it's true well I think we'd all be disappointed with those players. I know I would.
If it's false then I'd expect Hunch to apologise to the club.
I heard it so I posted it. Not a big deal if it's untrue. Where else would I go to try to get a decent answer to the allegations?

So was this the rumour that was doing the rounds on twitter last night.
yeah looks like it;
AN ex-Richmond footballer's wedding was marred after a fight broke out as a man was ejected.
Radio broadcaster Derryn Hinch has been reported that a group of players confronted a teammate and punches were thrown during Kayne Pettifer’s wedding on Saturday.
Hinch has told listeners Brendan Fevola and good friend and Richmond captain Chris Newman were at the wedding but were not involved in any confrontation.
But the Herald Sun has been told a scuffle broke out at a Fitzroy St upmarket bar in St Kilda, which involved a guest at the wedding who had been ejected.
The guest had allegedly been arguing with former captain Kane Johnson before being ejected and lashed out, striking another guest.
It i believed police on a routine patrol witnessed a fight and arrested the man.
Richmond FC has sent out a tweet saying “regarding an alleged incident involving Richmond players on the weekend, the club advises none of its players were involved".

There are a couple of people in Melbourne who are dying, and are receiving far more coverage than they ought to. They have been eulogised by the media that many times, you could be forgiven for thinking that they are already dead. If for nothing else but to put them out of their own misery, I kinda wish they would hurry up and die.
Derryn Hinch is one of these people.
(And no, I aint goin anywhere neeeeeeeeear the other one)

Wedding guest accused of biting ear of ex-Tigers skipper Kane Johnson

FORMER Tigers skipper Kane Johnson's ear was bitten and he was punched to the ground and jumped on at a mate's wedding, a court has heard.
Johnson, who retired from AFL football in 2009, was sitting at the Laika Bar in St Kilda, when he was attacked in the early hours of February 5, Melbourne Magistrates' Court was told yesterday.
The Herald Sun believes the attack took place at former Richmond player Kayne Pettifer's wedding.
Johnson's accused attacker, wedding guest Matthew Barton, applied for bail yesterday.
Det Sen-Constable Murray Gentner, of St Kilda police, said wedding celebrations had moved to the Laika Bar, in Fitzroy St, when Johnson was attacked about 2.30am.
Sen-Constable Gentner said Mr Barton, 23, walked from the bar to where Johnson was sitting, put his arm around him and bit his ear and then punched him in the face.
Mr Barton then jumped on Johnson as he lay on the floor, the court heard.
Sen-Constable Gentner said Johnson had no idea why he was attacked.
Johnson went to The Alfred hospital for treatment and a hospital in Yea the next day with a lacerated and damaged ear, damaged teeth and other injuries.
Sen-Constable Gentner said that after allegedly assaulting Johnson, Mr Barton approached another male wedding guest and punched him in the head three times.
That man was knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital with a fractured cheekbone and neck damage, the court was told.
Police were called and subdued Mr Barton with capsicum spray.
He faces five charges, including intentionally causing serious injury and affray.
The court was told Mr Barton, a former Xavier College student, was on bail facing assault-related charges at the time of the incident.
Prosecutor Cara Foote opposed bail, saying Mr Barton was an unacceptable risk of committing further offences.
Magistrate Charlie Rozencwajg adjourned the bail application until February 23, pending the possible release of psychiatric reports.

Don't come to us with more crappy rumours. :banghead I heard a rumour the other day from a disheveled guy standing on a street corner wearing a Hi5 beanie who swears that Alex Rance is now the proud father of a 60kg Shetland Pony. Apparently, Mother and Pony are doing well.

Its Depressing Smokey. My only other Source here in NSW is gerks and he is tied up all day queuing at Centrelink and the Methadone clinic. ;D
