Post by: dwaino on February 18, 2012, 10:41:31 PM: I asked this a while back, and if I remember correctly, Al said we get one promotion right before round 1, and 1 per LTI. Last year we could have used 2 (LTI and pre-season promo) but only used the one. My interpretation is if Astbury and Moore remain on long-term we get 3. I guess it depends on how much they want to promote Miller. He was a ripper last night, but if they have plans to play Derickx and Griffiths then maybe it will be Maric and Miller will have to wait until the mid year promo.

I'm presuming this will help Miller and mini Maric to remain on the senior list. Only Helbig is on the long-term injury list now IIRC.

Bo' what about that kid Verrier. Is he worth giving a game or two before the end of the year? He looks a likely type.

That might have been part of the discussions the RFC had with the AFL regarding this incident.

Meeting with AFL would have been about terminating Connors ;D
