You have a crack then ;D not an easy draft to re-do
-
I would have Vickery in before Watts at this stage.....
Also Hartlett has hardly played a game ::)

Is that a joke? Hartlett was sensational last season.10 times the player Hill is
-
Matty is being very kind to Jack Watts IMHO
-
Rich still ahead of a few on Fanny Lloyd's list
-
Who is Davis??
-
Who is Davis??
The co-captain of the GWS who walked out on Adelaide - Phil (I think is his 1st name) Davis he's played about a dozen games
-
Phil My Sack Full O'Cash Davis
-

More like Watts is being 'physically' kind to Matty in a 'loving' kind of way. Could be the only possible reason he thinks that Watts will be better than Vickery by next seasons end.
-
Ah yes big Phil. Played on the fest a year or two ago.
-
about 6 or 7 , How on earth is watts justified ahead of him, how many goals did he kick in season 2011 :lol
-
Played down back and averaged a career high 43 disposals.

What setting tables in his local take away shop?? :lol :lol Watts is El'Capataine of the SS Whinger
Not a pot shot at u Davey... just dont like the sook
-
Yarran, Watts and Zaha are behind Vickery.
If you asked each club, they would agree that a good tall beats a ho hum outside mid or a dodgy back flanker.
As for J Watts Lloyd is basing this on?
-
Watts is the doubtful one.Otherwise Lloyd is correct.Vickery for Watts???
-
Lloyd was a flog on the field, now he's a flog off it.
-
Just saw some footage of Watts on AFL 360.
Very worrying if you're a Melbum supporter. It's only a NAB cup, but he hasn't shown anything to suggest that this was just a practice game effort and he can turn it on in the season proper.
-
Hurley, always injured. I'm sure he's great. Hartlett, I'm sure he'll be awesome, but yet another interrupted pre-season due to injury and hasn't played a lot of footy. Watts is a spud. Zaharakis.. how nice of Lloyd to chuck two Bummers into his top 10.
NicNat is in a league of his own, but Vickory more than deserves to be in there with Yarran, Shuey and Hannebery after kicking 30 odd goals and being one of the most mobile big men in the comp and at such a young age.
-
Typically we don't get rated in many of these things... Vicks just needs to consolidate last seasons improvement, who gives a flying stuff what that flog thinks

Jurrah has taken leave as well. I wonder if he'll be back?
-
As much as I h8 the little toff, I reckon Watts has every chance of being a better player than Vickery in a few years. 50/50 even 60/40.
-
Watts needs to pull his head in off the field.seen him out a fair bit.full of himself.might be intelligently smart but a dill on the nightclub seen.keep away from Riva you dill!

Hopefully not by Round 3. Always plays his best game against us.

This is his biggest problem. Always loved his ale! That was the word from his junior days...

most of the media have absolutely no idea.

Personally I think that the talls are of more value than Lloyd is crediting them for.
My top 10 FWIW based on current output and future potential.
1. Natanui
2. Vickery
3. Hurley
4. Shuey
5. Hartlett
6. Hannebery
7. Hill
8. Sidebottom
9. Yarran
10. Davis

Hurley is ahead of Vickery IMO and I would have hill further up the list to.
Vickery at pick 6 was a great get for us and at this stage he's done nothing wrong to say therwise :cheers

I think TV has a bit more value as a forward who can ruck but there's not much in it. I certainly rate Hurley's ability and flexibility that's for sure.
Hill is a bit hit and miss for me. Has X Factor in spades but he was disappointing last year. Relies an awful lot on his pace and is a soft tissue injury away from becoming just a player. Think he gets overrated a little because he's flashy but can equally go missing.
If anything probably overrated Sidebottom because he's been part of a premiership side but seems to have stagnated a little. Might have squeezed him out for Ziebell who's going to be an important player for the Roos if he can get fit.
i think Davis has a heap of upside and was rightly rated by GWS.

Question for Matthew Lloyd ( :wallywink)....
Who kicked the winning goal in last years Dreamtime at the G game ? Clue- it was his third goal of the night.
-
Watts is showing all the signs of becoming the Dees answer to Tambling. Plenty of potential talent as a draftee but can not jump the mental hurdles :shh
-
All elite footballers/athletes have that hard edge mentality, you either have it or dont imo, Watts has all the tools to be a cross between reiwoldt and buddy but just doesnt have it, the tambling example is perfect.
-
Watts=soft
Lloyd=punce
That is all!
-
He IS another Tambling.
A spectator, doesn't want to do the hard stuff, lacks the intensity and desire to make it.
lol at the Melbourne flogs on BF having meltdowns over the Watts bashing. They're saying it's only his 2nd season, somehow the first two didn't count. :wallywink
-
Lloyd is a moron.
Watts is a princess but he's the type of player we need to destroy when Melbourne play us. Had good games against us both times. Need someone to just go in and knock his block off and not worry about the 6 week suspension.
Typical yuppie private school malaka who thinks he deserves a free ride.
-
I like your thinking Tucker...
Now if Jackson had brainfades against players like watts ilk then I don't think the fans would be so hard on him. Put him out of the contest, fold him up and drop punt him back into the melbourne members stand
:wallywink
