5 changes from last week...
In: Grimes, Grigg, Cotchin, Jackson, Foley
Out: Morris, Elton, O'Hanlon, Verrier, Wright
-
Strong side, looks like Geelong are well below strength.
O'Hanlon, Wright & Verrier looked a mile off last week so I dont think we will see them for a while.
-
full strength except for Lids
be interesting to see how this pans out ;D

So we should be expected to win with those guys missing. If we don't then there may be worrying times ahead.

there might be a few missing but seriously there are still a few guns that will be playing for them
Eg:
9. James Kelly,
11. Joel Corey,
20. Steven Johnson
30. Matthew Scarlett
35. Paul Chapman
44. Corey Enright
Not a bad top 6 to start with and there's their mid tiers:
12. Trent West,
13. Tom Lonergan,
31. Podsiadly
etc
Still a very strong Geelong line up
We need to be competitive and not get smashed, if we win great if we don't not the end of the season ;D
-
always tough playing down at the Cattery. Apparently there are some pretty gnarly winds getting around down there too with the half-built stadium .
-
dont care about the result unless its a 10+ goal walloping :lol
Just want to see a solid 4 qtr effort and hopefully less silly giftwrapped turnovers. Thats still a decent Geelong side on their own turf so will be hard to win, just dont get whooped

Yep agree, can't afford the belting, need to go with them for the four quaters, something we have improved this year has been our starts. First time in a long while, we need to match them at the start.

dunno if Piva Wright was a 'mile' off
-
Yep. Hard to judge the big fella on one half
-
The defence is still sorting itself out (Morris out) but a much stronger and deeper midfield this week with most of our name players back.
B: Grimes Rance Batchelor
HB: Houli Post Ellis
C: Grigg Cotchin Newman
HF: Edwards Riewoldt Nahas
F: Miller Vickery A.Maric
R: I.Maric Martin Foley
Int: Dea, McGuane, Connors, Tuck, Jackson, King, Helbig, White, Derickx, Arnot, Webberley
-
Would think the last 2 weeks has shown that our likely back up ruck for round 1 (if we go down that path) is Derickx
Staggerd Webberley is still in the squad :-\
-
Webberley still on list is even more staggering
-
Played a good game week 1 of NAB did Jezza

might also say his disposal kick wise is poor
-
Yeah i was impressed with Webbers in the first NAB game. He was woeful agianst the dockers, though. Will be him watching closely tomorrow.

The guy's getting plenty of the ball, he's just butchering it with his disposal.
Let's hope he's a little more composed this week ;)
-
I remember pulling out the old "Oh FFS :banghead" when we drafted him :lol Very good player below AFL. Good tank, not many could keep up with him off HB in the TSL. Nice kick when under little pressure too. poo kick when there's pressure.
Not up to it. :cheers
-
Mcguane out Wright in
-
not many could keep up with him off HB in the TSL
except the Coach :bow
-
I prefer to stay unknown around these parts so please don't talk about that game.
-
Poach The Coach 2012 :cheers
