Shane Crawford's list for coaches, players under pressure in 2012
Shane Crawford

THERE is nowhere to hide in AFL football these days - it doesn't matter whether you are a superstar trying to rebuild your career or reputation; a coach hanging on by a thread or expected to win a flag; or even a young player trying to meet expectations of others.
Pressure comes for a number of different reasons - form, fitness, off-field issues, and expectations realistic or otherwise.
Here's my AFL pressure list for season 2012.
DAMIEN HARDWICK (Richmond)
YES, Damien Hardwick has the freshest coaching deal in footy right now, but we know that's no guarantee of long-term success or tenure.
I am not suggesting he will be replaced any time soon. He won't be.
But he will know that the Tigers have to improve on their efforts from last year.
Richmond has a tough early draw, so the pressure will be on them from the outset.
The positive is that Hardwick has put a lot of time and effort into the kids, and now it is their turn to reward him with some more consistent performances - and some more wins.

Oh the media can't let go of that old chestnut. :wallywink
His new contract is an endorsement for Dimma to leave his mark on the club for the next three years at least.
Let it go. It will be reviewed at the earliest half way through 2013 one way or another.
