Title: Time for the unbiased acceptance of Jordy McMahon
Post by: Dubstep Dookie on June 15, 2012, 09:49:47 PM: A couple years on now and it's probably timely for all of us to accept Jordy McMahon for the star player he was.

Whilst people knock his kicking and outside running game, people forget how good he was in 2008.

When he was on he was unstoppable.

He was arguably BOG in our against the odds wins against Carlton and Freo away, and by seasons end led the club's kicking tally, handballs received, rebounds from defensive 50 and came 8th in the Best and Fairest FACT.

And then there was his injury interrupted but solid 12 game season in 2009 including that match winning goal against the dees in 2009. Crueled by a leg injury, he was delisted the following season.

A guy who gave his all and always put the team first, which is alot more than many afl players can claim.

A champion bloke and a star of the modern game. We salute you :clapping

Right here a photo of two men. Both a symbol of catstrophic errors which plagued the Walla$$ era.

One at the start which lasted well after he was gone and one at the end whose only last AFL act of not is seen here in this photo.
