Joke
-
What bs he was playing the ball, reached down and 'bug' rose up and got in the way, stiff poo.
-
kelly gets off, houli will get 2 weeks
thats the afl
-
He hardly touched him. If he goes they should appeal.
That's racist.
-
when they showed the incident from another angle you could see houli clearly had eyes for the ball the whole time. It wasnt even a delieberate act to bump, he never turned side on
...so basically he is screwed.
What odds he gets at least the same as ballantynes cheap, dirty, gutless snipe?
That will send a clear message to the kids on the acceptable way to play the game ::)
-
I think he'll get off. If he slid in then that would be another story. It was reasonable that he contest the ball the way he did.
-
Houli reported for contact? That's encouraging.
-
They will let him off to make up for the poo decisions they made all day!

That's right and its okay to deliberately tread on players hands with the studs in your boots. That's only a small fine. All the kids in the schoolyard were little Josh Hunt's last week. ::)

I blame Fox commentator tony shaw for this..during the game he highlighted this several times.....He made a big deal out of a nothing incident
-
Hopeful that Houli gets off he has a great record and is a pretty decent person , has he been to the mrp before?
-
There was no slide, no knees, no nothing. Just going for the footy. Will be a rort if he gets time for it.
-
Have to say when it happened (and I was at the other 50 arc) my first reaction was "he's in trouble here".
Wasn't surprised to hear he got reported. Not saying I agree but certainly not surprised
Will he get off?
With the MRP toss a coin ... Who knows

Speaking of sliding, Conca and Cornes slid knees first into each other at the final siren and Cornes got a free... :huh

Yeah saw that too. But like the commentators said plenty of times throughout the game, there was lots of sliding due to the conditions. Hopefully it is all taken into account.

That's racist.
That's brilliant.
-
Well fact is it is racist and we shouldn't have to put up with it.

Official MRP report:
The match day report against Richmond's Bachar Houli for making forceful contact from front-on against the Giants' Tomas Bugg was assessed. The panel said Bugg was on the ground and was seeking to handball the ball to a teammate. Houli comes towards him with his arms outstretched in a bid to block or smother the ball and high contact was made. It was the view of the panel that Houli's actions were a legitimate attempt to spoil or smother the ball. No further action was taken.
