OUTRAGEOUS HOW CAN WE WIN NOW :banghead :banghead

White or Conca for Jackson
-
Jacko rubbed out again for another cheap shot that had nothing to do with the play. What an idiot! ::)
On top of his suspension he should be dismissed from the leadership group for once again letting the team down and never learning his lesson.
-
With his record it's amazing he was ever put in the leadership group in the first place.
The amount of love he is getting on the RFC stuff is gold too ;D

Mindboggling isn't it!
These ill-discipline acts are just an extension of him being a dumb footballer.

:rollin
Some pertinent points made too :yep
"Kinda thankful for this, the problem with Jackson is that other than tackling, he doesn't contribute much to the team. It's all well and good to get 12-15 contested possessions per game, but when half of them are clangers or missed shots at goal all he's doing is getting in the way of our other, more efficient ball users. It's the same problem Tucky used to have, until he learnt his limitations and increased his football smarts. Combined with his indiscipline, I kinda hope he doesn't last beyond this year."

All the other leaders do things that resembles leadership. Even Jack points at people when he kicks a point or out on the full. Never seen Whacko Jacko do anything. :-\

Our luck is turning.
Big win coming up against the dees

Whether it deserves 2 weeks or not really isn't the issue anymore
The issue is that Daniel Jackson does it time and time again. How many suspensions is this in the last 3 seasons? :banghead :banghead
To consistently get suspended shows a complete lack of respect to not only this Club but his team mates as well
Jacko rubbed out again for another cheap shot that had nothing to do with the play. What an idiot! ::)
On top of his suspension he should be dismissed from the leadership group for once again letting the team down and never learning his lesson.
And the Club wondered why fans were furious when it was announced that he wass in the leadership group and that he got a contract extension.
I've said before and not sure if it was last season or this season but it was after another suspension that if Daniel was a "real" leader he'd put his hand up, stand up in front of his team mates and say "look I've let you down AGAIN and I am standing down from the leadership group".
Would argue it is just on impossible to excuse and defend him this time
Most critical month of our season and he selfishly has another brain fade .... :banghead :banghead
-
How is he supposed to win a Brownlow if he keeps getting suspended :banghead I swear that the umps hate rangas :banghead conspiracy

Tiger Daniel Jackson will roll the dice at the tribunal tonight.
Jackson had a one-match penalty for striking Adelaide's Chris Knights increased to two by the panel because of the tagger's poor disciplinary record.
The stomach punch in the third quarter was assessed as intentional, low impact and body contact.

Can anyone explain this to me :huh
Jacko is pleading guilty but wants the charge down graded from "intentional" to "reckless"
I don't get it, it wasn't a errant swing of the arm

Who knows, everything that surrounds this guy is a mystery. Like how he gets a game in the first place, and how a guy so supposedly smart is so dumb on the field.
Yet another bazaar chapter in the mysterious life of the walking burger ring.

Hopefully will get cleared and then we can troll Adelaide.
Maybe reckless + low impact is just a fine?

suspension stands :thumbsup

Jackson ban upheld
By Nick Bowen
5:20 PM Tue 03 Jul, 2012
DANIEL Jackson will miss Richmond's next two matches after the AFL Tribunal upheld his two-match ban for striking on Tuesday night.
Jackson's suspension was not increased by his decision to challenge the Match Review Panel's charge that he struck Adelaide's Chris Knights in the third quarter of the Tigers' loss to the Crows last Saturday.
However, when Jackson resumes playing he will be carrying 82.16 demerit points, but would have had just 11.62 if he had entered an early plea.
Jackson was charged with a level two striking offence against Knights that on its own would have attracted a one-game suspension. But this was increased when his existing bad record - he had previously been suspended four times for a total of seven games in the past three seasons - was taken into account.
Jackson will miss Richmond's clash with Melbourne at the MCG this Saturday and its round 16 game against Gold Coast at Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns.

At the @AFLTribunal now waiting for Daniel Jackson case to get underway

Nick Bowen:
Must say I don't like Jackson's chances of having ban overturned
17:04
Nick Bowen:
But he's not risking an increased suspension by challenging MRP decision. However, if Jackson had made an early plea he would only have been left with 11 carryover points. If his challenge is unsuccessful tonight he will have 82 carryover points
17:06
Nick Bowen:
Jackson concedes that it was a reckless strike but is arguing it was not intentional
17:10
Nick Bowen:
We're looking at video replays of incident now. Rehearsals for EJ Whitten Legends game going on in the background. Working Class Man was blaring out as we came in

Andrew Tinney for AFL saying Crows medical report suggests Knights needed attention at the time but otherwise suffered no other injuries and won't miss a game

Nick Bowen:
Daniel Jackson giving evidence: Cotchin pushed Knights towards me. He then missed the chance to bump him, instinctively threw his left arm around Knights
17:14
Nick Bowen:
JM, I think he's going for a one-match ban. Has so many carryovers already that's best he can hope for
17:16
Nick Bowen:
Jackson; intention to bump but forceable contact was made. Couldn't tell AFL counsel whether it was made with a closed fist, contact made with my hand in some position
17:18
Nick Bowen:
Jackson said he put his hand out to block Knights' momentum. Says footage inconclusive. Can't tell you what happened, these things happen really quickly

Nick Bowen:
Tinney for AFL: puts it to Jackson that he did intentionally strike Knights. he denies that
17:19
Nick Bowen:
Jackson agrees he was the cause of Knights going to ground. Says Knights didn't remonstrate with him
17:21
Nick Bowen:
Tinney effectively a secretive little blow you delivered. Jackson you can suggest what you want but it was not an intentional act, happened in the course of play when Knights was pushed into him
17:22
Nick Bowen:
Jackson not a deliberate punch. Was reckless because a reasonable player should have realised blow constituted a strike
17:22
Nick Bowen:
Tinney for AFL: although you need to look carefully, it says something about nature of blow. Intentional and deliberate. This was not a player out of control because of a failed bumping motion
17:24
Nick Bowen:
Tinney says may consider Jackson's evidence as not that satisfactory. Has described somethign that would meet teh description. Describing something that was accidential. Was far from the punch of the century but a blow with a closed fist. Quick, surreptious and deliberate punch
