The coaches were asked which team's premiership window is about to open and this is where the love for Essendon starts to appear.
Five of the 18 coaches believe the Bombers are about to contend for the flag, while four believe Adelaide to be thereabouts. Richmond (three) and West Coast (two) also received multiple votes, while Collingwood, Greater Western Sydney, Gold Coast and the Swans also received support.
Below: How the coaches voted

Essington ::)

Lol, do people think the bombers still have a bifold window into the finals now? Its amazing some of the crap ive been reading through old threads. The media should be held accountable for the dribble they write :whistle
-
Robbo and Rohan gate crashed the voting.
-
Well one coach had a clue with the swans.
-
well 2 of these coaches are probably Dimma and sheeds
-
Interesting to know who the coaches were?
-
Coaches trolling the Bummers. I like it. I like it alot actually. :clapping
-
HAHA bet it was too, add some pressure to the bummer chemists.

Agree adds pressure on bombers

What are the chances that Sheeds was one of the coaches to votes for the bummers? Hirdy probably did too. Got his excuses typed up in a word document at home just in case though.
*ASADA ruined our preparation for the season.
*Bomber Thompson had a holiday booked for September and without a coach we felt we couldn't compete.
*Too hot and sunny in September and it might get in our eyes in the last quarter.
*We had a chance to make finals if we beat Richmond but decided to try a few things instead. Some of them didn't come off and that's why we lost. Should hold us in good stead for next year when we bring back Dank.
*We decided to go with a heavy training load ahead of our last game which would explain the 100 point loss to Richmond. ;D
*If June didn't exist we'd be a top 4 side. :whistle
*Jobe didn't play Round 23 and we had no one else to cover him.
*Great effort by Jobe to overtake Cotchin for The Age Footballer of the Year award in the last game. Emma Quayle obviously realised his immense leadership from the stands while Cotchin is an overrated hack and cherry picked those 10 goals. ;D
*Premiership window opens next year. :shh

Everytime I'm feeling down ill read this to make me laugh, that and look at the autographed syringe I have from the bombers 2012 team that I've got in a glass box.
Caption reads, "peptide twice a day and if pain persists contact Dank for a bigger dose" :shh

It'll never happen, wish we were poo again so I could just get excited about a win once in a while.

Tick tock
Tick tock

Surely the time is whilst still rance is still around?
If not more so while rance is still in prime?
This is one reason I'm against the total rebuild
-
Rance isn't winning a flag anytime soon unless he moves to GWS, Sydney or Hawthorn....
-
GWS come knocking and offer us 3 first round selections including 2 x top 10 selections for Rance -
what would you do?

GWS come knocking and offer us 3 first round selections including 2 x top 10 selections for Rance -
what would you do?
Say 3, 6 and 12? Youd have to take it
-
Would want Cameron , Kelly & their first.....and they'd have to also let us grab Lobb for a second rounder....
-
thats a big ask for a bloke thats not a key defender.............
