Fire away ....
Yes please...........Outs: A. Maric (om)/White (sus).....Ins: Arnott/Webberley
Can we give Dusty a weeks reprieve for good behaviour? :pray
-
do we even have anybody to bring in?? isnt webberley and arnot injured?
-
i think webberly is, but didnt arnott play for coburg last week?
-
Outs

What is Griff's injury? He didn't look too bad after the siren.

Has knee issue.will be assessed tomorrow .could be 1-2 weeks
-
dimma said calf got a bit tight for griff in presser, good to know its minor whatever it is
-
Webbers is the forgotten man he would be obvious replacement for whitey
-
dimma said calf got a bit tight for griff in presser, good to know its minor whatever it is
The same guy that is assessing Axel might be assessing Griff. ;D
Outs: White (susp)
Ins: Foley

Would like amaric and mcgsune dropped.

Would like amaric and mcgsune dropped.
You okay. :help
McGuane was okay other than his Miller like boo boo handballing to Jack when running into goal. Despite that he has done more than what Miller has all year. Would rather Luke play that role than Miller any day of the week. McGuane stays for the time being.
-
Wouldnt put miller in ...
-
Wouldnt put miller in ...
You're dropping McGuane. Got to replace him with someone. If its not Miller then tell us who.
-
Elton.
Vickery but not fit :-\
Astbury
I dont think browne, moore or even post would be any worse.
Almost running out.of talls.
-
Promote Coburg. Today was an outrage. :pray :lol
-
Thought McGuane did well and looked at home forward. He was drafted as a forward.Alot better then Miller and Jack looked better with him there.
-
No Coburg seniors this weekend limits our options for someone to put their hand up. Mini Maric did nothing against his old side so I could see Webberley replacing him as sub next week. If griffs doesn't come up then we'll probably have to look towards Postie as a key defender. Our depth or lack of it is really being tested :-\.
-
Would like amaric and mcgsune dropped.
You couldn't have gone to the game yesterday, surely. Luke was more effectual than Jack in his offensive, and more importantly - defensive work and gave much needed grunt when required. He was in my top 8 for sure. He played a Jack Darling role and did it well.

Thanks Jack, probably a low grade medial strain (which is a relief).

Seen Foley yesterday
Walking with a limp would indicate he is a long way off playing

Mcguane was great yesterday as a decoy played his best game at the club and remember guys he is the only player left with lids from the horrid Franklin stuff up draft
Out Ahole Maric Doormat White
In Axle Foley (sub test run). Jeromy the porn star Webberley
Griffo is ok play
Vickery Gimes are gone for season a bit like the Aussie cricket team
RFC
-
Missed it all yesterday, How did Tommy D go? Is he in next week??
-
Would like amaric and mcgsune dropped.
At least admit when a player goes ok, your vendetta against McGuane is worse than the one I had against Edwards...
-
Tommy D battled on,and with more game time might show a bit,but really didnt do much other than give maric some help in the ruck

Where were you sitting Jack?

Pity the magoos arent playing today, otherwise with another solid performance i reckon they might have pushed moore up to the seniors.with grimes out for awhile moore would have filled a back role perfectly
-
Wow are depth is really being tested.. I see the only out being White due to suspension ( most likely ) I think he will be replaced with webberly.. But I would like to see Biscuit get a go !
I dont really think we can afford any other outs :banghead
If there was one I think it might Dea for Moore. They wouldnt want to rush Moore back into AFL level though.. But Dea didnt play too well yesterday.
-
I dont dislike mcgaune.
He had a fair game. Vs a poor side.
-
In: Elton, Arnot
Out: White (Sus), Griffiths (Calf)
-
would love to see Arnot get a gig & Elton get another run (after the one week in/one week out caper)....Matty White def out via MRP & if Griff is injured rest him (he's been going ok)
-
Million to one they being in a young player after a weeks break in warmer conditions in Cairns
-
If griffs doesn't come up then we'll probably have to look towards Postie as a key defender. Our depth or lack of it is really being tested :-\.
Or (less than likely for a couple reasons) Derickx back Post forward

I mentioned the 8 post gag to my mates at the footy yesterday and they chuckled for ages

Really need to address the kicking for goal this week, only bring in players that can hit a target from 30 metres. Watched GC vs the Cats and keep the GC in the game next week with poor execution and we will lose. The Hawks showed today how you beat a low ranked team, they ran like they were playing the top side, we dont, we adjust our performance according to the opposition, this needs to be rectified as a priority.

Cats were missing Podsiadly, Harry Taylor and a few more from last week. Cats a going through the motions atm. Joel Selwood was brilliant today.
You are right though Lozza we need to address our kicking for goal as whilst we can get away with it against the lower sides teams like Nought and Carlton will punish us on the rebound.

INS: Foley if fit (doubtful very doubtful) if not Arnot to debut,
OUTS: White (susp - unfortunately)
I'd actually drop Dea as well after all the little steps he's taken over the last 4 or so weeks he went backwards on Saturday in a big way cost us at least 3 maybe 4 goals = very disappointing. As I said I'd drop him but they wont because he's a favourite ;D
-
Out white and Maric
In Foley Webberley and Arnot(if foley still injured)
-
Arghhh YES Mini Maric
An "OUT" as well ;D

arnott is one game back from injury, in a must win game, we need to lever our expereince rather than level the game introducing debutants...webbers to get a crack, NO brainer :shh

Footy Barometer - Round 16
From: Herald Sun
July 09, 2012
RICHMOND
ON THE BLOCK: Matt White will miss after being offered a three-week ban he will surely accept. Brett O’Hanlon was quiet and still looks raw but could remain due to the Tigers’ depleted stocks, while Addam Maric, Matt Dea and debutant ruck-forward Tom Derickx remains on the fringe. Ben Griffiths was subbed out with some concerns over his calf. Star defender Dylan Grimes headed off to Germany for treatment on his dodgy hammy today, so his season could be done.
ON THE CUSP: Not much. The Tigers, suddenly, are short on playing stocks with eight first-choice players unavailable for a wide range of reasons. The Tigers would love to get Foley back from a bruised heel this week to replace White while Brad Miller and Matt Arnot are also in the frame. Kelvin Moore is on the comeback trail to AFL footy but had a week off due to Coburg’s bye.
SAM LANDSBERGER’S FORECAST: A huge danger match against the Gold Coast Suns in Cairns this week. The Tigers lost the corresponding fixture last year and if history repeats they can kiss goodbye their finals hopes. Suddenly suspensions are hurting. Richmond would surely just want to get through this week with the four points and then welcome back Dusty and Daniel Jackson for the crunch North Melbourne match.

RICHMOND - In the Mix
Of the six who played in the loss against Adelaide and then missed the victory over Melbourne, only midfielder Nathan Foley is a chance of returning. As with the previous two weeks, he'll be assessed during training on Thursday. Of the seven brought in last week, debutant Tom Derickx would be vulnerable after failing to make an impact.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/141027/default.aspx
Forget about Foley for the rest of the year :(.
Good luck to us putting a side together this week :help.
-
If we're short, we could just borrow a GC bloke and get him to chuck a jumper on.
-
If we're short, we could just borrow a GC bloke and get him to chuck a jumper on.
lol......a couple of weeks ago in my sons under 10's we were short a couple of players. The other team loaned us 2 different players each quarter. In the last quarter they loaned us a big kid who had done nothing all game, our coach parked him at full forward and he ended up kicking 5 goals to get us over the line by 10 points :lol the other side was spewing and after he kicked 3 thry even asked our coach if he could move him up the ground :lol

Well if GC send us over Campbell Brown, then we can always opt to just play a man short.

Throws a dart...
Out: White (susp.)
In: Verrier (rookie promotion & debut)
If Griffs' calf isn't still right then Postie will have to come in too.
Others could be dropped as well (A.Maric) but our lack of depth may actually save him.
-
Out . White
Inc . Help
Not sure tough selection this week
-
Believe Mini maric must be dropped. I would bring in Arnot. Give him a taste of senior footy. GC have alot of youngsters so it is not as though we are throwing him in against experienced players. A real shame that Hellbig is still injured.
-
Arnot the only "IN" for mine to replace White (susp)
Mini Maric is saved only because of the injuries and suspensions
Think Griffiths will play, if he doesn't then they will probably bring in Miller just to give everyone a good solid "whipping boy" for the round :thumbsup ;D
-
Biscuits is not up to afl level yet plus he's come off a injury and has hardly played a vfl game of late
Unfortunately little Ahole Maric will survive
Out
white suspended from the ceiling
Griffo injured the tin man with no heart
In
Pia or the ninth post but not both (crisis state-sub)
Lord Elton a must at chf
Bo Derickx will play Back
-
Arnot copped another injury playing for the Coburg ressies so he's not available this week either I believe. We've got players going down left, right and centre :-\.
-
any more possible outs.
-
any more possible outs.
It's getting to the stage where the question is are there any more possible ins? :P. Given we need to bring in another mid at least it looks like the choice is down to one of Webberley or Verrier :-\.
In the side (21):
Batchelor, Conca, Cotchin, Dea, Deledio, Derickx, Edwards, Ellis, Griffiths (?), Grigg, Houli, A.Maric, I.Maric, McGuane, Morris, Nahas, Newman, O'Hanlon, Rance, Riewoldt, Tuck
Available:
Browne, Darrou*, Elton, Graham, Miller, Post, Turner*, Verrier*, Webberley, Wright*
Underdone:
Astbury, Moore
Injured:
Arnot, Foley, Grimes, Helbig, King, Vickery
Suspended:
Jackson, Martin, White
Gonski:
Connors, MacDonald, Heslin
-
I'd bring in Greg Verrier. Webberley is a delist.
-
What about Kel Moore as the sub?? Any chance??
Think Webbers must come in for Whitey surely.
-
plugging holes. or is that dykes :gobdrop
-
Put no. 41 on Dusty :shh
-
Greg Graham anyone?
-
Even better Greg Miller anyone
-
Greg Graham anyone?
Yes but only if Greg Griffiths is unavailable.
-
Even better Greg Miller anyone
:lol
-
Moore or webberely only inclusions, thank heavens we have some depth :shh
-
We all need to lift our game since we have not won a last quarter since the Hawthorn game
And we have been smashed by freo gws crows and melb in the last quarters
We need to add leg speed or solid defenders to the team but were limited at the moment
Tinman griffo must play big loss last week when he went off
