People talk about Mediocrity, have a look at all of the same old comments about sacking the coach and that the club is a basket case.
If you cant see that the club is improving then you are kidding yourself. We all know that it isnt a quick fix and we have waited impatiently for years to taste some success in the finals and get back to the top of the competition again.
Sure Hardwick might make some mistakes with tactics etc on gameday, so do all the other coaches at times. Dimma can only go over things so many times before a match and once the ball is bounced most of it is out of his hands. If the players dont come to play then you have no hope.
Last night we had atleast 5 players IMO who shouldnt be playing AFL footy, throw in another 5 atleast who are borderline or still learning the game and anything can happen with that mix.
I go everyweek like most of you here also and get as angry at the results as most also, the clear problem is our depth is still terrible and we fall away dramatically once a few go down. The process is moving in the right direction.
Stop all of this dribble about sacking the coach, it isnt going to happen.

I'll put some perspective on the situation.
GWS play some home games in Canberra one of them was agains GC 17. GWS won by 27 points.
Richmond sells home games against GC17 to Cairns in 2011-13. So far RFC 0 wins to GC 2 wins.
End of rant.
It aint Hardwicks fault but until we are self sufficient enough and good enough to develop our own culture and identity separate to one that we have been living in since 1982 the sins of previous regimes will rear their ugly heads from time to time and stifle the growth and expectation of our footy club.
It aint Dimma or Benny's fault but somewhere in these last 30 years there have been some individuals whose contributions or lack of to the RFC have sown the seeds of failure in this footy club that makes its stature so rotten in comparison to other AFL clubs.

Spot on
Let me say I'm was and still am gutted but that feeling is not as bad it was last night driving home.
First thing this morning I questioned whether this was all worth it and whether I keep going following this team. I will
Said last week that what's shining like a beacon at the minute is our lack of depth. Seriously, there were blokes out there last night that would be lucky to get a contract at VFL, SANFL or WAFL level
We simply cannot afford to have the likes of Foley, Grimes, Batchelor missing big chunks of the season

Why is it so hard to lockdown the game for a bunch of so called professional footballers. That is BASIC football to all flood back & protect the goal.
Because we misjudge the term PROFESSIONAL at Tigerland.
(EXAMPLE) Maybe Jack Rewoldt should have run the length of the field to protect the goal instead of standing in the other square waiting for the ball to comedown over the back.
If he was standing at the back in the dying seconds, he would have marked the ball & stopped the goal. Its also the RUCKMAN's JOB to run back & defend ;D
even my son does this in games they are winning or losing every week. Its BASIC football for Geez sake
As l said Gippsland Power play a better brand of football than these so called professionals we pay huge money too each year.
