Western Bulldogs Player Found Unconscious And With Illicit Drugs
Damian Barrett
Triple M Footy
6 August, 2012 - 12:41 PM
A young Western Bulldogs player was found by police in a state of unconsciousness early on Sunday morning, according to Triple M Footy's Damian Barrett.
The Bulldogs became aware of the incident yesterday and are currently dealing with the matter, Barret wrote on the AFL website.
Barrett says the player was found with illicit substances and questioned by police after they found him at around 3.30am on King Street in Melbourne's CBD.
The player has been placed in a diversion program by police.
The Bulldogs have failed to return calls on the matter, despite repeated attempts to contact the club in the past 24 hours.

MMM say it is Tom Liberatore.
-
His old mans talent for scratching will come in handy with the Meth Mites.....
-
Heard he was trying to get as high as Curiosity.
-
The Bulldogs leadership group has imposed the four-week sanction after Tom was located by Victoria Police early Sunday morning heavily intoxicated and in possession of a small amount of a recreational, illicit substance.
Liberatore has been placed in a diversion program by police.
It is believed the incident will constitute a "strike" under the AFL's illicit drugs policy.
In addition to the suspension, Liberatore has received a suspended $5000 fine and has been told to undergo counselling and education.
He will also be engaged in full-time employment for the next six weeks and will not be allowed to train with the playing group for the duration of the suspension.

One would hope the Bulldogs make sure "full time" employment excludes him working for his old man in Tony's little business
-
what business does tony do?
-
Karma's a bitch Tony.
-
what business does tony do?
Sells medical equipment so that businesses conform to OH&S
Might add off the field .you wouldn't meet a nicer bloke than Tony
He would be devastated

Chuck in safety work wear as well
And BTW I wouldn't call selling bandaids, bandages etc, selling "Medical Equipment" More like "first Aid supplies" as per his business name ;D
Company I used to work with bought some stuff off him..
As for your comment about him being a nice bloke...in my limited dealings with him I found him quite arrogant actually but each to his own :rollin

First aid requirements for OH&S
Have known him outside footy for many years

He is a liar. My old man was involved in signing him to Williamstown to play the year he won the Brownlow. Committed, deal done and then bulldogs kept him, which was a surprise to all involved.
This resulted in him staying at the Bulldogs because of a clause (fair enough).
Tony denied ever being in discussions with Willy.
Lying dog.

Finally figured out who you are, Damo. Another former Y&B poster :cheers

Yeah mate, long long long time ago.

Dont really want to know him ;D
But he might sell bandaids & bandages but I'd question how much he knows about OH&S - gets a lot advice ;)

Met him in traffic? awesome bloke :thumbsup
I saw him once at the Cubby House on a Friday night years ago.
By pi$$ing in the cubicle next to him I couldn't determine anything after my binge than I was about a foot taller and so was everyone else in the dunny.

Aah how ironic. Maybe the scratching dog felt guilty about what he did to Knighter, Kelly & many others over his career.

With all due respect Jack - it is your opinion "you wouldn't meet a better bloke than Tony"
Others have also dealt with him and don't share your opinion and that's their right
As I said at my previous workplace I had dealings with him once and found him to be an arrogant "so 'n' so". Glad I don't have to deal with him anymore ;D
I also know someone else who has had dealings with him through his First Aid Supply business and they said he can be very rude to people on site
As I said in my previous posts = each to their own
-
yep, each to there own, thats why this is called a forum
