Not really sure we are in that great a position, the Pies have 3 picks before we have our second pick.. :-\...PA the same..

Have a look at Adelaide, Carlton, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hawthorn, Nth Melbourne, St Kilda, Sydney, West Coast and ask yourself if any of those clubs would swap picks with us. I would think yes, in a heartbeat.
We are marginal with Brisbane and Port Adelaide while Collingwood, GWS, Melbourne (only because of F/S - if someone had bid more for Viney then we would have been miles better than them) and Bulldogs are better. I'm happy with that. It's all up to the work of Jackson and Hartley now.

For a team that made the prelim this has to be a dream come true for them. To end up with 3 first round pick and to trade out two players they wont miss is unbelievable. It should certainly set there list back up for another 5 years. Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do about it, our poor drafting record from days gone by has left us with a list of duds at the back end who are clearly all untradable. Our lack of depth not only let us down onfield this season but has now also let us down during trade month ::)

Yeah agree, we really need to get into the same position as the Pies over the next 3 years.
