What did we all think of Matty Dea's year?

Nice bloke and thats about it I am afraid
Unless you can kick the ball more than 10 times a game playing down back you wont get a game in good teams
To average 5,6 kicks a game is still way below standard.
Interesting that is average possesions a game really hasnt improved over 3 years
But some bright spark on here will tell me that I have no idea and he will be s atar, yep Pigs fly too
-
Surely you would at least acknowledge he has improved a bit? He was shocking in his first two seasons.
-
Tough as nails, great at the 1%er's but needs to step this season or its curtains. Has defiantly improved but just not enough to have have a major impact on games.
-
Thought his last 2 games were OK
That's about it
BTW where's the poll Mr OE ;D
-
Shows some good signs, severe doubts whether he can make it though
-
Had a really good year and played his role. 8.

Surprisingly I agree with your assessment for a change.
Great bloke as you say but 2013 is his make or break.
Dea shows some tremendous glimpses but counters it with some amateurish errors.
Currently IMO he is not AFL standard and will need to have a breakout season next year to establish himself as a footballer.
Have my doubts as it seems more like hard work than natural ability when it comes to Matt.
4.5/10 for me this season.

He played a great last 2 games. Keep playing him.
-
Not quite sure where he fits in for a position, maybe competing for batchelor's spot, surely he is miles behind Jake
-
Not sur on this bloke. Could go either way. His goods ok bat his bad is high grade poo

BTW where's the poll Mr OE ;D
Poll added :thumbsup
-
Provides good depth for backline and has improved. Needs to continue improvement
-
I like dea
-
Needs to improve skill wise but his courage and intensity can't be faulted. I gave him 5. I reckon he could be turned into a 'Jackson' type of big-bodied tagger.
-
At this stage Dea has been more serviceable than the big boy taken at pick 19 in the same draft.

Poll added :thumbsup
Thanks Chief ;D
I've voted I feel better now ;D
Now back to the baseball :thumbsup

It took me ages to see something I liked in this kid as I didn't know why the club rated him so high.
I gave him a 3. He's still young but I like his coolness under pressure.
I hope he becomes a very good player for us.

Thanks Chief ;D

I'm not an avid fan but I always set aside Bathurst day as a 'must watch'. Agree with you when talking about Nascar-type racing but Bathurst just chucks up interest year after year. And this year's finish was an absolute cracker!

Back to the topic ppl!

Has improved but needs alot more improvement. Courage can't be faulted. Next season make or break.
