Because that's the kind of thing the Pies want to have for their members and supporters within the next 5 years.
Collingwood wants to have a 24-hour, Collingwood-devoted football channel operating within the next five years.
Pert said the club planned to put more resources into providing more of its own media content for fans.
The club would invest in studios, cameras and other media facilities as it sought to create new content, specifically for members and supporters.
Collingwood features on a Foxtel show, The Club, which lasts for half an hour each week on the football-devoted channel and focuses on people and players behind the scenes. Pert said the club eventually wanted to increase that to a 24-hour channel.
''I'd like to think within the next five years,'' he said.
''The Club is among Fox Footy's better-rating programs, attracting an average of about 80,000 viewers each week.''

Totally agree, the quiker we can do this the better. It will be an enormous dissemination machine we should already have tiger tv. we need to be pumping our brand out on every conceivable communication line possible and TV is huge and a must.

Probably not. Seems like a lot of money / extra work for not much gain to fill 24 hours to TV time every day. I'd be happy with an hour-long segment twice a week on the RFC website.
-
I would watch a half hour RFC show daily but that would be the limit.
-
i dont think its needed.. At present they do quite well with what they bring out on the website.. The amount of money it takes to put on that sort of thing is huge and the club has better things to spend it on.. Say,, like another free agent

I would watch it if nothing else was on. I'd definitely watch the live and exclusive weekly shows.
If they filled the rest with classic wins from the past 20 years, I doubt they'd have enough for 12 hours, let alone 24. ;D

They could fill the rest up with close losses because they were at least an achievement at times. ;D ;D

Gary Perth talks too much. Shut up you poopoo head

We could do Richmond flavour of the following:
Simple Life, starring Jack and Rance,
RBH, starring Grimes and Moore,
Breaking Bad, starring Martin and Connors,
and for the ladies,
Robbie does Dallas, starring Nahas.
-
No but a weekly show on Foxtel Footy that goes for an hour or so would be pretty good.

The Honorable Loss Marathon. ;D

They could also do a fan's forum segment where members of a particular forum come on and debate topics for an hour. I reckon ours would probably last about 5 minutes before dummies were spat and insults thrown so we would need a highly respected, firm, impartial, sympathetic, tactful individual as chairperson. Here's a few names to begin with:
Ox
WAT
Claw
Coach
'65
MT2010
*Jackstar* (wildcards to cover all possible past and future combinations of names)
Tigermonk
Al
Dookie
Ramps
Nominations are now open......................

Would only watch if Ivannnnnnnnnnnnn was host.
Seriously though,A 24hr show would be overkill after the first few days.Once a week hr show would be fine.
-
prefer to watch paint dry.
