Title: MSn messenger

hey guys can anyone here educate this technological troglodite(me) on the coming and goings of the above service..
I have been informed that this service is closing down and going to skype(whatever that is).From what i know skype is a video service is that correct?

Haven't used MSN messenger in years sorry, but yeah Skype is a video messaging thing. I think you can also chat and stuff via type though.

With the advent of social network sites like MySpace and now stuff, messaging apps like MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ have really faded away.

Yeah you can just type with Skype. It's also the cheapest way to video call someone from your phone
