HAWTHORN superstar Lance Franklin has told the club he will not discuss a new contract until the end of the season, sparking fears he may leave.

Franklin is a restricted free agent at the end of the year, meaning he can entertain offers from rival clubs.

Probably will be like the Cloke circus with Buddy eventually stays at Hawthorn but if it derails or distracts the Hawks then it can only be a good thing  ;D.

Regardless of whether they went or stayed,  out of these players who had a controversial year surrounding their contratct which of them actually played to their  high standard/expectation (scully)? Ablett, Scully, Goddar or Cloke? I don't think any of them did really
