Kingy is next up.
The 28 year old is entering his 7th year of AFL having played 87 career games so far.
What are your expectations for Kingy in 2013 and what would be a good year for him?

Think Kingy will continue to be one of the first picked every week simply because of his defensive pressure in the fwd half. He does the 1%ers well, the chasing, the tackles, etc
Think unless someone steps up and demands his spot then he will play most of the season in seniors

WP has summarized well. It's a cliche expression but we are a better team with Kingy in the mix. With him and Edwards in attack, i reckon Nahas' spot is tenuous.

When fit and firing kingy would have to be one of the first picked. As WP said its his forward defensive pressure that stand him appart. When Kingy is on song no opposition players waltz through out forward line to set up attacks

The tough midget is valuable at times but simply not good enough in other games. I hope he stays fit for the entire season. Forward line come round will be interesting

Coach is there another player on our list that can provide that forward defensive pressure that is so important?
Unless of course you think that aspect of the game is not as important which is fair enough

It's very important. I don't think anyone on our list applies pressure like he does. You get that from Kingy every week but he doesn't always have the same output offensively that Nahas and Edwards do. When he does get his 15 touches and 2-3 goals it is an outstanding result for us. For mine King plays every week if someone like Knights can replace Nahas in our forward half. I don't like playing 3 smalls in Jake, Edwards and Nahas. We need a consistent hit up half forward to replace one of those smalls.

His defensive pressure is very good. Would like him to kick more goals. He has the capacity to do so.
