Beat me to it tiger101
Interestingly none of the main news websites (HUN & Age) have anything about it ;D
No Caro, Robbo exclusives
Clearly no-one cares :rollin
-
The Age now have 2 line grab saying the presser is likely to be about the Clubs Admin
-
Schwab is stepping down seems to the rumour.
-
Yeah Jay Clarke from the HUN is saying on Twitter Schwab has quit

Demons' crisis: CEO Schwab resigns
3:36pm AEST Tuesday, April 9, 2013
Melbourne CEO Cameron Schwab has resigned
His resignation comes in the wake of the Demons' dismal start to the season, highlighted by Saturday's 148-point loss to Essendon.
More to come

"Asked to resign" The Age is reporting
::)
Whatever
-
Schwab stepping down isn't going to make them a 10 goal better side. At the moment the most important thing they need to improve is their on-field performances and it needs to happen quickly.
-
President is a complete idiot, should show himself out as well
Took ten minutes of questioning before Schwab could be pinned down enough to admit or accept any form of responsibility as the CEO
No Caro, Robbo exclusives
maybe because they were attending the presser?

maybe because they were attending the presser?
;D
What I meant was usually one of them tries to "break" the story
In this case the first web-site to go with the news that there was to be a presser was the AFL site, not our 2 major dailies ;D
As I said no-one cares :rollin

:birthday
:dogdance

stuff. They might get good. >:( :lol

The HUN is reporting that the Dees are about to announce Peter Jackson (former CEO of the Bombers) as their Interim CEO
Hmmm.... the cynic in me says this has headquarters prints all over it
No way the Dees could entice him on their own
;D

True, but he is a good operator, I reckon they could do a lot worse.

Absolutely agree Smokey, he will do more at the Dees in 3 months than Schwab did in 10 years ;D
Jackson set up the Bombers off field to be the financial powerhouse they are today; so no doubting his credentials
Just reckon the headquarters had to be involved in getting him there that's all

For sure. Probably some sort of shared 'incentive' - Melb to pay a salary and the AFL to quietly top it up to a level that he would want to take on that challenge!!

Wasn't he the one who sacked Sheedy as well.

Yes he recommended Sheeds not be given a new contract and he was the one that recommended to the board of the day to extend Matty Knights contract and as soon as he 'retired' they (Bombers) sacked Knighta and had to pay him out ;D

Knights could have a chance at coaching again than. Jackson obviously thinks highly of him.
