Cotch, martin, lids :shh

IMHO Martin has been the most consistent this year and would be leading the B&F at this stage. :shh
-
Lids. He'll win it too.
-
Jackson
-

The longer the season goes, the more the kid is playing out 4 qtrs and living up to the hype.
Best decision making and best disposer in the side - actually panels above anyone else atm
-
At the moment Martin. He is playing very good football. His disposal has been outstanding.
-
At the minute Lids, Edwards or Martin
-
Jackson
If he wins it I'll be ringing PriceWaterhouseCoopers myself to put the club into liquidation ;D
-
edwards will be in the top 3 and possibly a dark horse
top 4 or fail
-
I believe the Coaches Votes Ladder would be just about right - Lids, then Cotch, then Martin. The player I would love to see higher is Maric but I don't believe he is playing anywhere near as well at this stage due to injury. Jack is rightfully third.
Houli should be higher. I think he, like Martin, have had a very consistent season to date. Is having a better season than Grigg to date imo. Edwards should also be higher - loved his almost hidden work in close with his creative handballs.
Lids the deserving leader at this stage and would be even with Cotch's omission last week.
-
Jon Ralph on SEN earlier today with KB said Shane Edwards would be top 3 in our B&F at this stage with Daniel Jackson up there as well. A Tiger caller then rang in and said Rance would be close to leading it.
-
1 - Deledio
2 - Martin
3 - Cotchin
4 - Edwards
5 - Jackson
6 - Morris
-
About right I reckon Dice. :thumbsup
-
Martin, Deledio, Rance top 3 at this stage
-
Lids. He'll win it too.
thanks,
gg

Morro would be a worthy winner he keeps toweling up his opponents each week durable and consistant and wouldn't leave RFC even if they offered him a Russian submarine for a contract

According to the AFL website:
Best and fairest: Trent Cotchin would be leading the count at Punt Road, but the player in career best touch this year would be Daniel Jackson.

Dan Jackson would be the ideal captain for GWS to play the Ritchie Ven Den Bug role as they develop the young talent.
While it would be disappointing to losing him, I'm sure the 1st round pick would soften the blow.
-
:lol I like your thinking Y&B!
-
I like jackos endeavour, and attack on the football.i reckon its second to none. But how can you give him votes when his disposal is worse than david polkinghornes
-
Can see Sheds,Jackson and Morris right up there.
-
Reckon Lids would be leading and Shane Edwards would be in the top 5
-
deledio Edwards are winning
vlas has a bullet next to his name .. could he win it in his first year .. keeps improving at this rate who knows
-

Cho, that's my top 5 ::)
-
Jackson has the password to the Match Comittees vote log-in.
-
If Daniel isn't leading then I have grave concerns for the credibility of the award.
-
Jackson wont be going anywhere. After years of not deserving his spot he is being validated by his efforts over the last 3 months.
-
I want to know if there has ever, ever been a pick 53 that has played more games than Daniel.
A couple of follow-up questions would be if a pick 53 has placed (top 5) in the clubs B&F and whether a 53 has ever top 10 the no-more-self-confessed-drug-cheat brownlow.
-
you mean for Richmond ,because wasn't james hird picked after pick 70?
-
you mean for Richmond ,because wasn't james hird picked after pick 70?
Hird, Dean Kemp, Andrew Kellaway, etc

I think Darth was asking specifically about pick 53.
-
Correct 'cho - just after the Barry Young
-
Dane Swan was #58
-
Big Millsy #55 :cheers
-
Surely the J-sun has got dibs on the best ever 53.
No one would ever come close to his impecable record of excellance in football mediocrity.
-
Jack would be close.
-
Robbo reckons Jacko may be leading our B&F.
2. Daniel Jackson.
Even Jackson might smile at this, but I reckon he might be leading the Tigers best and fairest. If not, we'll settle for a career-best season. As we've said before, Jackson was a consistent ''dislike'' with his temper and loose elbows, but he's turned his career around. Took Gazza after a spell and managed to keep the champ human. The Suns skipper might've been subdued because of injury, but Jackson beat him fair and square.

The Buzz: Daniel Jackson among likely AFL best-and-fairest winners
Jon Ralph
Herald Sun

RICHMOND
Prediction: Daniel Jackson from Brett Deledio.
We suggested on SEN Radio on Thursday night that Dan Jackson might win the Richmond best-and-fairest.
Mark Fine was a little shocked, but after some thought came close to agreeing.
After Jackson dominated Gary Ablett on Saturday night the football community was unanimous.
Finally over hamstring tendonitis that limited his training, he has been consistent throughout games and throughout the season.
He has eradicated the turnovers that once plagued his game, been huge in crunch games like the Gold Coast contest and the West Coast win, and tackled like a demon.
Who might beat him?
Maybe Brett Deledio, with Trent Cotchin considerably down on his output.
But then again, Deledio has had perhaps four poor games, which will count against him.
Dustin Martin and particularly Bachar Houli are top-three contenders.
All of Steve Morris, Shane Edwards, Alex Rance, and particularly Troy Chaplin have been excellent, too.
Chaplin kicks helicopters and looks all at sea at times, but he is more composed than he looks and his opponents don't kick goals.
He has been yet another super acquisition for Richmond.
SUPERCOACH TOP 5
108 Trent Cotchin
107 Brett Deledio
103 Dustin Martin
95 Ivan Maric
94 Bachar Houli
Dan Jackson will never make history, but given there were calls for him to be dropped last year his rise has been meteoric.
The Herald Sun ran a headline early last year titled "Dan's Not The Man'' after a spate of turnovers, and it was entirely justified.
But every time Richmond has won a crunch match this year it has been Jackson chasing and tackling, and forcing turnovers and even delivering to teammates with some level of precision.
The key has been the easing of knee tendonitis that has allowed an elite junior runner the chance to return to that level of fitness.
He might yet be beaten by Bachar Houli or perhaps Brett Deledio.
But finally he has the football to match the mouthpiece as a worthy spruiker of charities and social causes.

12. Daniel Jackson (Richmond)
Some would have given him away last year now there are those Tiger fans who think he should have been made captain.
