Title: DREAMTIME TICKET UPDATE
Post by: AstuteTiger on May 19, 2013, 02:25:31 AM
MCC TWEET:
@MCG: "Hope to have a Dreamtime ticket update soon. But yes, we'd expect this match to sell out of public tickets before match day."

PUBLIC SEATING:
My fellow Tiger fans if u haven't already got ur tkts or dont have a reserve seat buy ur reserve seats and for those who prefer to stand (general admission) id be keeping my eyes and ears to media to see if they decide to fully ticket this game or if demand exceeds supply the game could sell out prior as the MCC tweet stated.... So all im saying get ur seats pronto dont want any tiger fans missing out and after today's game V Melbourne people will start looking to next weeks game so get in ASAP as currently the tkts available are top deck Q level 4, so lets have the G in a sea of yellow and black like we did against the pies!!! Dreamtime games are awesome!!!
http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=RICHM0913#.UZen8qKArng

AFL SEATING:
Top deck Q, selling the remaining 3 bays Q26, 27 and 28, still some decent seats but i expect them to be gone by next sat night...

If and i say if the public reserve sells out prior to next sat night and some tiger fans feeling aggrieved by missing out all i will say is as a last resort if u no an AFL member or MCC member who can buy a guest pass on ur behalf that would at least get u in, guest pass tkts are bout $40 includes entry and reserve seat...

Hope that all tiger fans have bought their tkts as there will be no GA at the gate meaning u wont be able to scan into the ground....(standing room will be available) once all reserve seats in the public area have been sold....2,000 reserved seats remain in the Public Reserve.

Mum and her fella making their way up from Tassie for this one. I bought her some tickets tonight and could only get some up in the nosebleeds. Games like these I'm glad to have finally coughed up the cash for a reserved seat membership. M55 represent.

Mrakov AFL members area for big matches is pretty much always full and for this weeks dreamtime game its almost sold out a few hundred seats remain....MCC members on the other hand is another story for most matches, but from memory even MCC members areas are pretty full at dreamtime games.....

I think it'll go close to 90,000, how do we still get 10K less well people who buy seats and dont roll up for whatever reason, MCC could have at least 5K not rolling up and some annual reserve seat holders not rolling up, sick, wedding, holidays etc

Standing Room and Restricted view now on sale, so if u prefer to stand get in now...

The below is another option from the Richmond membership Dept (PH: 1300742466) a better option if still available BBC80's post on PRE below...

BBC80
Yesterday I upgraded my 11 game membership to include a reserved seat at all home games left, including Dreamtime - for a cost of $60
The seat is on Level N, under cover.
Seems like an OK deal to me, six home games left at the G and I now wont have to worry about getting a seat - even though most of the
high pulling games have already been played and we are the away team for the Hawthorn game - we are the home team v Carlton in round 21.
Anyone still trying to find tickets and have a membership can try ringing the club to see if any of these are left.
I did this via the phone with the membership department....

Public Reserve

A limited number of restricted view and standing room have been released in the public section of the ground for this match. The AFL advises that all fans planning to attend this match, including Richmond and Essendon members with general entry entitlements, must purchase/upgrade to a ticket for access to the venue. Richmond and Essendon Club general admission members will not be able to scan into the ground on the day.

AFL Reserve

Limited reserved seats remain in the AFL Reserve, and AFL members are advised to pre-book.

------------------------------------------------------------

The AFL is encouraging all fans to purchase a ticket in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available through Ticketek phone 132 849, at any Ticketek agency or online at ticketek.com.au (http://ticketek.com.au).

Public and AFL gates will open at 4.00pm and the MCC Members Reserve will open at 4.00pm for the curtain raiser match. All fans attending the match are advised to allow plenty of time to arrive at the stadium and to take public transport where possible.

A limited number of visitor tickets in the MCC Reserve are still available for MCC members.

This continually astounds me. Here we are with a sold out game but 85,000 are expected  :huh :huh3

Surely the MCC can organise thei ticketing better so for potential 'sold out' games, MCC members (even just for Restricted Members) they must book tickets or they can be onsold to members of the MCC Waiting list. Just too many empty seats in the MCC area and AFL areas for games that should be filled.

Agree but the MCC and AFL (who have the final say on the releasing the AFL members seats) won't do it for fear as upsetting their members

Richmond members please be advised the AFL has announced that Dreamtime at the ‘G this Saturday night, at the MCG is a sell-out.

All seats and standing room at the MCG has been allocated, and General Admission members will not be able to access the ground, unless they have upgraded to a reserve seat through Ticketek.

Richmond has season reserve seats and General Admission members can upgrade their membership to a season reserve seat by calling the Club’s membership team on 1300 742 466.

Only a limited number of the season reserve seat upgrades are available.

Do we share the gate with the Bumbers?

The AFL wishes to advise that the Public Reserve has SOLD OUT for Saturday's Round Nine Richmond v Essendon match, to be played at the MCG. Richmond and Essendon Club general admission members who have not already upgraded to a reserved seat/standing room ticket will not be able to scan into the ground on the day.

Please note: anyone holding a Dreamtime at the G admission ticket will still be able to scan into the venue.

Separately, very limited number of reserved seats remain in the AFL Reserve, and AFL members are advised to pre-book.

MCC members are still able to purchase a limited number of visitor tickets for guests (maximum of four per member). Walk-up seating in the MCC Reserve will be available for members and guests on Saturday night.

AFL Reserve and MCC Reserve tickets are available through Ticketek.

Public and AFL gates and the MCC Members Reserve will open at 4.00pm for the curtain raiser match. All fans attending the match are advised to allow plenty of time to arrive at the stadium and to take public transport where possible.

I'll say 84,000 due to mcc and afl members not showing up
