Title: Next six matches
Post by: 1965 on May 26, 2013, 06:25:55 PM
We play Eagles next week - a loss

But then play:
the Crows (currently 7th but we play on the MCG)
Dogs (16th)
Saints (15th)
North (13th)
and Gold Coast (12th)

We could be 11 10 wins and 7 6 losses after round 16

Sorry can't add up

Should be, need to keep focused. IMO we haven't lost any game, on paper, we should have won yet.

The lost to Freo was a shame, but realistically Freo on their home track under Ross Lyon are as hard to beat as anyone. We never beat Collngwood or Geelong and the Dreamtime game we didn't show up and Essendon are a lottery, unfortunately the 'top 4' Essendon rocked up.

We've beaten all teams we should beat to make finals. Still making 8th or even at best 7th I wouldn't be patting guys on the back, we have a long way to go till I consider us successful.

In saying that 2 finals series in 3 decades, I'd take the small wins as they come and welcome finishing 7th or 8th. Even 9th.

Glad I read this thread. Puts things into a little more perspective.

Adelaide and North games will still be a challenge.

Even if Nought have not won again when our game rocks up it will either be a milestone one for them or one they have pencilled in, in their block to be fired up for and beat us.
We just can't beat these nobodies.

Richmond has been better from Troy Chaplin's arrival and Chris Knights had some bright moments before injury, but Richmond remains in a mid-table limbo, uncertain if it has yet made the advance to be top eight contender - the Tigers' six games after the bye will tell a tale.

The only game I give us a 100% chance to win is the dogs games that's all.The suns are pushing the best teams now.If we were to play them now it would be a certain loss.
