Heard rumours that we are about to launch a campaign to try and pinch as many 5-10yo Melbourne supporters with a Be a Tiger Instead type of marketing promotion. Looks like we are really gonna try and stick the boots in to that rabble called Melbourne FC. Already heard that some of the kids that barrack for Melbourne are already deciding that enough is enough. Some have already become little Tiges :clapping

Great :cheers but will never make for for 3 decades worth if kids we have lost

We have lost some but not that many in reality IMHO. Tiger Parents seem to have done an outstanding job of keeping their kids in the fold.

I been told its gonna start in the next 2 weeks but dont know if its true or not. All I know is that there have already been calls made to Footy Talkback on SEN and 3AW that some of the young Demons kiddies have ditched them for the Tigers already.

Can someone with a Bigfooty account go and open a thread on this subject on the Demons board. I got nuffin to do at the moment so having a few laughs at their expense will be one way to pass the time.

After their 10 goal loss to Gold Coast at the 'G, a father rang into SEN saying his son took off his Melbourne jumper and asked his (Tiger supporter) mum for a Richmond one. So that's one new Tiger.
Schwarz's attitude of hoping Melbourne loses by 100 pts to Collingwood, pretty much sums up where Melbourne supporters minds are at. They are going to their games anymore either. Last week Hawthorn as the away side clearly outnumbered the Demons in the crowd and no doubt 80% of the crowd tomorrow (Monday) will be Pies.

how do you target another clubs supporter base and steal their fans?

Do we really want these pasty, silver spooned young effs following our great club?
The type of human that at 18 would be a complete liability in the trenches with you, shoulder to shoulder.
You'd have to bayonet a few of the weak effers just to keep the peace >:(
