I want to ask a question - How do Hawthorn who have supposedly 62,000 members not get many people to games therefore assuming that they are watching on TV only to find that Hawthorn are almost as low as the minnows of the competion atleast going by the Coverage numbers - So if there not going to games and there not watching on TV - How the stuff are they getting the membership numbers they claim?
-
Reckon these numbers will lead to more FTA Friday night games for the Tigers in 2014 :clapping

Remember Ramps...cats dogs, goldfish, hampsters, rabbits, chooks, and pet pythons..do these aforementioned individuals attend matches or watch Tv?
-
Cats, dogs, budgies and goldfish don't watch free to air ;D
Surely they have a couple of rich benefactors who buy 3-4k memberships each
-
Tony..great minds think alike

Ive heard there is at least one businessman at hawthorn who buys memberships and hands em out like confetti. Its a disgrace really, the AFL should do something about it.

would such gestures happen at all clubs Ramps?

Essendon, Collingwood and Carlton all have a bye this week too. Game in hand. ;)

It probably does but the rumour pertaining to Hawthorn is that the memberships bought are in the thousands not just a few dozen etc.

We have those 3 game memberships along with Collinwood[maybe others].Its a farce that those should be counted on the membership tally.

Its just a marketing tactic, these memberships are really good for interstate, country people, also they are good for people with health issues who cant go to all games but can get to 2 or 3 games a year. Those people deserve to have their status recognised IMHO.

I have a son working in Thailand and a three game membership is perfect for him.

I'm a bit confused by this thread?
5th in what? 6th in what?
Tyrone has shown some good signs this year and been a little inconsistent but I see him as crucial to our structure.
Nice to see him getting some plaudits.

Snip! Back to the topic thanks.

We weren't on free to air in round 12? Meant to be but they didn't show it

The dawks have 10,000 odd tassie members not sure if its a real 10k or if its 5k and they just count heads. ;D
