Every year these two gentlemen start the ball rolling with hundreds of rumours about the Tiges and who we getting.
Tradespert has started early this year with the rumour that the Tigers will make a big play for Rory Sloane from Adelaide.
Can we keep all rumours from these two esteemed gentlemen in this thread please.

lets make a play for rorys misses she is some hot piece of work
-
Yeah, I am not so sure she is a good get with RFC history drafting South Australians.
Probably lure any hook-up back to Adelaide.
Matt Rogers has played most games for RFC drafted from SA.

Sloan is a Vic boy, he's sick of Frog cakes and pie floaters, wants to return home :shh

The missus is from SA

Anyone know how interested we are in Mumford? Just watching Before the Game and he was on, and Andy Maher mentioned a rumour of him to Richmond before they started joking around about the tattoo of Tigger on his foot as confirmation.
-
Mumford is almost 30yo from what I know. Even if he was like 27 or 28 still wouldnt do it at least not for a 1st round pick.

Anyone getting on board the Jesse White train?
Jesse White
#18 Sydney Swans
Age : 25yr 5mth
Born : January 9, 1988
Height : 196cm
Weight : 102kg
Position : Forward
http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pp-sydney-swans--jesse-white (http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pp-sydney-swans--jesse-white)
He's still young, he's a forward, he can play ruck, hasn't had much opportunity and he will be cheap. I think with continuity of games and some self belief this kid will explode.
I've been driving this train for 12 months now but its still empty.
Who wants to jump onboard? ;D
-
Tigra, theres no doubt this kid has talent and plays it hard too.The main criticism of him seems to be his attitude, you don't see this as a possible reason to avoid him?

He's positioned behind Mumford & Pike as a ruck.
He's positioned behind Reid and Tippett as a forward.
Add to that Goodes who's a stuff and can play anywhere anytime.
Also they seemed to have a youngster now in Xavier Richards they might want to develop there as he was subbed for White in the blues game.
The guy knows he's a fill in for injuries only. With a decent run at it and with a lot of confidence in him by a coaching staff that's willing to back him in, who knows?
I'm not saying its not a huge risk but if he's cheap why not?
Besides, it may only cost us Nahas. ;D
-
Tigra..run with the nahas trade you will get an avalanche of support now

Well the train is empty and taking passengers. :thumbsup

Ditto, and Nahas is rubbish too.
Edit: text inside quote edited.

Would rather have White than Nahas. Vickery and Jack are capable but neither weighs anywhere near 102kg. We desperately need a POWER forward IMO. Key forwards are nice until you play a tough/mature side then they get well and truly outmuscled (example, Jack vs McPharlin).
Honestly I'd rather have had Chris Dawes instead of McGuane (who I respect a lot) just because he's 105kg+ and despite being a hack would probably provide some presence.

Not at 500k a pop andyy
-
Someone from the Swans Hard working , hard tackling engine room would be good.
K.Jack
Mitchell
Kennedy
Parker
Problem is I can't see any of them going anywhere. I think Parker would be the only one we could realistically have a crack at.
-
if we are looking at a swans player why not pick one who is not crap?

Seriously Bents, who on that list is crap?

White...
others :cheers
swannies have great team
-
Parker should have been a Richmond player anyway. Offer them Batchelor as a swap ;D
-
Any chance for Boyd at tiger land?
Foley and our first pick. Doubt it
Dusty would do the trade easily if he goes
It's a shame if the turn coats lose buddy and pies lose Thomas they still won't have leverage for boyd

Exactly what we need at Tigerland. Would be the biggest price of the puzzle solved IMO. Rance, Chaplin, Grimmes in the back half, our onballers speak for themselves, and Jack, Vickory and Boyd up forward would surely be a premiership combo.
Not sure how they would get it done but maybe, our first pick, Titch Edwards, and Griff? It would be a shame to loose Eddie but you have to give something to get something. :pray
-
ShaneEdwards hands off!

you wouldn't entertain that trade?

Best hands in the game....

Who Boyd? Early call but you never know. :whistle
Sure it would be a shame to see Eddie go but I recon you might be ok when you saw this kid Boyd play. Pick 1 isn't up for grabs very often, especially when I kid like this is up for grabs. This could be the difference between being a good to very good side that may being able to contend for a flag, to a side that would be a genuine contender. There is a huge difference!! Just ask St. Kilda.
The Tiges seemed to have turned a corner on field, have they got the minerals to make a massive call off it? Until I see it I don't think they have.
-
Shane Edwards, Greg Williams hands.
Boyd wouldnt get a gig behind McGaune or AEdwards so not much point.
Ben Griffiths was rated as a top 5 player in his draft pool. Yet not been tried as in the senior team in his natural position (forward)

We'll trade Griff like we did Schultz and watch him become a gun

What would foley plus our first pick get us?
Love to get my hands on Boyd.

Not pick 1 which is what you need to get Tom Boyd

well if you ask username foley wouldn't get us much more than dean brogan

He'd be more competitive than Orren was yesterday.

Orren tried hard but was shown up in the mobility stakes.
Need to look for a ruckman via FA or trade I reckon. I'd be chatting to Geelong, they seem to have them stock piled down there ;D

Was up against a dinosaur in McEvoy last week and played well and given your point we know the rest.
Sam Gorringe from GCFC should be a RFC target this off season.
-
Bellchambers out of contract and on fire against Port. Three goals in the first quarter.
Mobile ruck who can rest forward and kick goals.
Then again Essendon players may be in trouble from ASADA.
