Glenn Luff from Champion Data was on SEN talking about the Tiges:
* Richmond is tracking to have its best defence since 1969.
* Champion Data likes to compare season profiles with teams of the past to see which sides will jump up the ladder the following year. Richmond 2012 with all those close losses had a similar year to Essendon 1998 and we know what happened with the Bombers in 1999-2000.
* Percentage is the best indictator of a team's capabilities. Richmond's percentage last year was 111.6% despite only 10 wins [ed. Up to 115.5% from 12 wins in 2013]. So it's no surprise Richmond will be playing finals this year.

I think so. It reflects how much you outscore opposition collectively as a whole.
It's one thing to win but another thing to win well.
Premiership teams usually have % in top 3.
Whilst we are not there yet in that category if we keep improving and closing the gap on the better sides that will translate in narrower loss or better yet wins and that will get our % up higher considering we are beating well the lower sides. Three 10 goal wins so far this year 5 wins between 5-10 goals and 4 in the 1-5 goal category. When was the last season we had 3 10 goal plus wins to round 18?
