No point in trialing things then when players, coaches and the majority of supporters are against it and you just go ahead and do it anyway.

I heard the AFL are planning to ban smothering the ball because it puts players legs in danger ::)

Not really. You can interchange 3 blokes after each break which is another 9 taking it to 129 which is effectively what the average is.

It's a better cap than the one they trialed in the Nob Cup, but I'm still not a fan. At least it is close to the season average. Could save a few rotations by not running to the bench as your reward for kicking a goal.
