Title: Which Tigers will thrive in September?
Post by: one-eyed on September 02, 2013, 12:49:45 PM
Some footballers love the big stakes and go to another level in big games while others don't cope with the added pressure.

So which Tigers do you believe will thrive in September?

The AFL website says Lids, Astbury and Batch rise to a higher level in the big games (crowd 70k+) whereas Tucky, Nahas and Morris fall away.

Morris plays more of a lock down role in big games and sacrifices his stats for the team good.
Typical stats based analysis without context.

I won't play Tuck in the finals  :outtahere

Jack is a big game player as is players like S.Edwards, King, Martin and Ellis imo

What a crock.

As if we're going to bring in Astbury and Batchelor based on this junk.

I'd still rather have Tuck and Morris. They make Astbury and Batchelor look as tough as a wet noodle.
