Herald-Sun rates Cotch the 3rd best player out of the 2007 draft behind Dangerfield and Harry Taylor.
Also there's no mention of Rance at pick 18? :huh
SuperFooty takes a look back at the 2007 national draft and tries to re-rank the top 10

Cotch was number 1 after 2012 and he will be number 1 after 2014. Harry Taylor is NOT number 2 even after this year.
-
I agree. If Cotch has a season like he had in 2012 he'll be pushing Dangerfield out of the top spot. I thought he was quite down this year. Even in the NAB cup he was missing targets with both hand and foot. Not sure what was going on but something has not been quite right for Cotch all year.

It's hilarious they put Taylor at 2. Who writes these things?

A guy who calls himself SuperFooty I guess!!!

I'd take Cotch over Dangerfield
-
Dangerfield is too selfish IMO. If you watch the Richmond V Adelaide game from this year you can see how badly he just wants to bag goals and stack up some Supercoach points.

I agree Andyy. I've watched the same game replay and Dangerfield had around 4 shots on goal from ridiculous angles or under extreme pressure where he should have passed it off to team mates in better positions. He is always looking to be the star which makes him stand out when it comes off but doesn't help his team as a whole when most of the time it doesn't. If he's trying to win the Browlow that's the way to play but if he wants his team to win more then he needs to change.
Cotch offers so much more with his leadership and ability to bring his team mates into the play. Won't even be a debate in the next couple of years.
-
It's not dangerfields fault he plays with a bunch of spuds
-
Yep. He was the only one worthy of having a ping that day. He single handedly kept them in it. Gun.
I rate he and Cotch about the same, with Cotch being more of a leader but Danger being more explosive.
-
Lawl :lol
-
Wow wouldn't even rate danger close to cotch? :)
Danger is a gun so is cotch happy to leave it at that
-
dangerfield is dynamic as
-
What a crock of poo....Cotch is at second and will end up at 1, Kruz has really slipped, if we believe the rankings.

He could have created 4 goals for the team rather than missing impossible shots as he tried to do it all himself. If he became more team focused his team would win more games but he would stand out less. Still be a star in the making but it reminds me of the Richo years - we live or die off his boot alone.
-
Dangerfield is a superstar. End of story.
Him and Cotchy will bag the brownlow quinella in 2014. Get some hard earned on it !
-
Can play but is a massive nerd gimp
-
Dynamic as is the danger
Should make a big play for him.
AFL version of rogic
That game against Richmond he was a massive hog but still a joy to watch. There was one pick up at full speed that was mind blowing. From memory AlexRance was uber impressed

We should get him down. He's good mates with the Cotchinator.
