Grigg, Houli, Griffiths, Batchelor

Vickery, bizarrely, seems to vacillate between stupidly courageous and weak as pee.

Houli

Chaplin...

Both have skillz. Houli can run and rebound. His kicking can be a feature

Nk doubt chap bas positives - Chpy hAs Apparent leadership and calmness. I'm still but sure about a key defender pointing + yapping instead if getting the business dine himself. No doubt chappy is a requires player. Yet if  a darrou, McIntosh, astbury type.can come good and put the pressure on the competition can't be a bad thing thing for the backlinr and  team as a whole. Yo me, grkmes and rance, seem to.play fb / chb respectively. Chilly floating around as the #3 is almost in its self  bit soft. Over a be bad a strong year. Yet I maintain there where times when be was comming in as the third man up and fully smev things up. Perhaps this is mkore judgment ratherthan toughness. Yet as the knl 'old player in back line we need more

RAthwr rough on. Bach. While he may not be much chop, I can't' remember him activity squibbing it. Strikes me as slowish and slowish at times , yet not.over soft.

Grifff has a the tools to be. weapon.

For.me grigg is the clear choice. Is a decent winger but not good enough as job, as of yet to carry him
nd his 30 odd uncontested disposal

People often talk rude in regards to deledio. Yet my memory is  of.times be ran back with the flihhty takknfa reliving mark. She. Be could have been destroyed. Y an opposite tall. This 'not good enough as a mid hence back mentality ink doesn'tids soft. One of the best individual games j ever Sen was Hodge in 08gf when be was quarterback/ back pocket. If hardwixm sees the need to ahlids behind the ball, its cause he's talented and reliable. Get off his titz

Grigga is more your classical squib. Ain't found of a contest and will run forward, towards goal at inappropriate occasion. I pray selection committee c the light. Hence the gordo selection sits will w mr

This is probably the main issue I have with people who say Vickery is soft and weak, as you have said at time he does things which do not deserve the week as pee tag.

I have put it down to being a young KPD still developing.

It takes courage to play at AFL level given the speed of the game, the physical size of the players and the hits and injuries you cop. The average punter wouldn't last 5 minutes out there.

Courage is relative - someone playing  professional football is expected to display a certain amount of courage on the field. Many of the people on the other side of the fence are effectively paying them handsomely to do so.

Some of those people on the other side of the fence even have jobs that are far more dangerous than football, for which they're paid a lot less and afforded a lot less time away from.

You want to see real bravery from athletes - go to a racecourse and watch people barely 5 feet tall and less than 10 stone riding unpredictable animals that weigh more than a tonne.

I'd prefer to use the term on opposition players like friggin Ballantyne from Freo or Milne. Both in the squib hall of fame.

Actually the courageous are those that turn up to car accidents or those that arrive to calm a psychotic person or the people that have to knock on a families door and give the news of a child that has died..  Those are the tough people.. What sportsman do is just that, sport!

AND ultimate courage is standing up for your communities beliefs when no-one else will

piis the pants vickery for me. only ever does it on his terms.ive seen him pull out more than any other player ive watched.  what makes ya sick is the bravado  with the jumper punching softie bull poo.

im only 185cm i played chf and ruck at times. when big blokes are puuting knees and elbows into you constantly it wpould be easy to walk away but you dont. you find a way and you make it it count when you get your opportunity. you always compete no matter what you never ever shirk it.
