Title: Preseason Draft - we have two picks
Post by: one-eyed on November 26, 2013, 01:57:02 PM: The AFL has announced that we will have two picks in the PSD - picks 3 & 7.

Below is the final order of selection ahead of the NAB AFL Pre-season Draft, to be held at AFL House on Wednesday, November 26.
For each selection taken in the pre-season draft, this will mean the removal of a selection from the rookie draft.

All clubs must have a minimum of 38 players on their primary list with a maximum of 40 players. Rookie list selections can then total 4-6, pending the primary list number, to make a total list size of 44 players maximum overall (ie; maximums of 38 primary / six rookies; 39 primary / five rookies; 40 primary / four rookies).

Round 1
1. GWS Giants
2. Collingwood
3. Richmond
4. Carlton
5. Sydney

Round 2
6. GWS Giants
7. Richmond
8. Carlton
9. Sydney

Rounds 3-to-5
10. GWS Giants
11. GWS Giants
12. GWS Giants

Matt, don't believe they will be using it.

Pre-Season Draft is likely to include just one live pick, and that will be GWS taking Jed Lamb. Other clubs with spots to fill will likely go with shorter primary lists.
