I want to import a clothes manufacturing machine from Taiwan and start making my own Richmond Adidas guernseys and apparel, because the club is not doing anything about the second rate terrible KooGa/BLK merchandise quality. I have to send back 3 guernseys because the RFC's Chinese sweatshop put the collars on crooked. Also, the embroiding is terrible. The tiger on our polo's looks drunk. I want to make some guernseys and polo's so that I can put them next to my KooGa ones and take a photo so that WP will believe me that Adidas is better quality..
Will I go to jail?

U need good human rights lawyer

I'd be more concerned about the sex crimes.

Yes you would or at the least the AFL would sue you Becuse you haven't got a license from them to make anything
Adidas would also go after you for using their brand etc illegally
So please go ahead and do it ;D

No they won't, I'll only make 2 jumpers and a polo and I'll post the pics on here. They won't find out

Go straight to the top of the AFL and Richmond to see if you could get the rights to make the guernsey.
Try to see if you could become the sole supplier of these guernsey for them to sell through their shop.
You would need a better product than they are currently getting, and of course an incredibly good price, show that you can meet the demand and range of other things.
One hard part is not knowing how much they are paying for the current jumpers now, and that is something that is extremely hard to find out.
I doubt that you could just go ahead and make them.
A different jumper is possible, but unlikely to be a hit with the merchandising department.
The usual way that products are made in china or other countries is for that company to have very precise specifications and top companies will pay extra for better quality.
Some companies don't care about the quality, especially if the demand is there anyway and people don't have a choice but to buy the only thing available.

I will repeat you can not make anything that is not licensed by the AFL.
They own all the club logos, jumper designs etc.
You make anything that they believe impinge on their copyrighted merch and they will sue the living daylights out of you.
I heard of a case where someone had made some animal coats in AFL colours for dogs. AFL found about it and threatened the person concerned with a lawsuit.
You want to make any type of merch that is AFl related then you will need to pay them a massive license fee for the privilege

You post them on here and the lawsuits gets bigger
You are suggesting you are going to make something and brand it Adidas. You do that and Adidas will take you to the cleaners.
So as I said go ahead ;D

I'll burn them after I post the pics

This is my last reply to you on this topic because you appear to trolling again
Burn them, bury them it won't make one iota of difference.
You'd still face a lawsuit for breach of copyright. This thread in itself would form part of the evidence

Lol do it. You'll be right. I work at Richmond and Adidas.
-
I'll just use Adihash instead of Adidas then. Do they have a trademark on Adihash too?

That's still covered under trademark law and Adidas would legally come down on you like a ton of bricks.

I'll buy some for nothing and wear them to the Oscars if you can get them made soon. Would prefer it branded Pierre Cardin but

They only sell Magpie in Northcote, so buyer beware. As Crackers Keenan once said..."Magpie, Not very good eating"

there is heaps of non-licensed AFL merch on ebay, i buy stuff all the time, it's cheap and better quality, easy to find
don't listen to WP, the AFL won't do anything, WP just doesn't want to see that adidas is better

I know right? There's fake kooga Richmond jumpers (better quality than genuine kooga) on ebay. The makers of those guernseys are making a killing right now. I've seen many a supporter wearing them at RFC games.
WP is just cut up because adidas is better quality

So Mrak, how do you tell the difference between a fake and a real Kooga? I remember the old fakes had a slightly different yellow and some didn't have all the sponsors on them.

Less yellow on the jumper and a brighter shade of yellow, not they cream peach yellow that kooga use on our jumpers. The Chinese get the colour right all the time.
They know what the RFC supporters want
