Edit: Google hasn't updated its map of Beaconsfield yet.

Here's what the Holm Park Recreation Reserve looks like:

The entrance to the Reserve is off Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, on the right hand side just past Holm Park Road. Oval number 1 is the main oval in front of the pavilion, whilst oval number 2 is the oval closest to the entrance to the Reserve.

Wonder if they are planning to use this ground as some sort of "back-up" for VFL matches if PRO is not ready in time

Hope not

Our fans training day last year was held at Toomuc Recreation Reserve, Pakenham, which isn't far from Beaconsfield, so we may just like the area given the large turnout last year.

If we are looking for a temporary venue for our VFL side then I'd guess it'd be something more like Vic Park  :P as that's where we trained while PRO was being redeveloped and resurfaced.

Personally, I don't see why they can't play them at Marrara.    :whistle

It's going to be 35 degrees tomorrow. I bet they are now glad they will be starting it at 9.30am.

Hopefully someone who is going will be able to post a training report here on OER for the rest of us who can't make it tomorrow  :).

Was a small grab on Ch7 news this evening

Looked a very good crowd

Dare I say it though not a good look to have them all still running running around in KooGa

Understand the logic with the Guernsey side of things

But the Coaches? Stig it's not a good look  ;D

This is a fail, because you didn't wear it with kooga pants like the players. Some people also like to wear adidas with Nike on the same day. It's the same thing

And I'll give you my answer honestly seeing you have obviously had your birthday stolen over the weekend.  It was a question to RFC_Official so that he could tell us all what lengths the club went to, to sell memberships, merchandise etc and it was asked because some on here had a crack at the club earlier in the week for the 'supposed' lack of effort in the same area at an early game last year.  Maybe I didn't dumb the question down enough for you.

More than 3000 fans in the Beaconsfield community, in Melbourne’s outer south-east, watched the Tigers train yesterday (Monday, January 27) at a special Australia Day holiday session.

It’s the second year Richmond has trained in Cardinia Shire over the Australia Day long weekend, giving regional fans a chance to see an AFL team in action.

“We know that Richmond has a lot of members and supporters in the Cardinia Shire, and it’s great to reward their loyalty and passion with a visit to their community,” Gale said.
