RICHMOND'S Aaron Edwards and Carlton's Brock McLean are the only players cited by the Match Review Panel after the first six games of the NAB Challenge.
Edwards can accept a reprimand after being booked for striking Melbourne's Bernie Vince.
The mobile forward came under scrutiny after punching Vince in the midriff during the third quarter of the Tigers' 14-point loss to the Demons at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from Melbourne, the incident was assessed as reckless, low impact and body contact.
Edwards' initial penalty of 80 demerit points was reduced to 60 after his six-year good record was taken into account.
If he pleads guilty, he will get an extra 25 per cent discount, meaning 40 points will be added to his record but he will not be suspended.

He's a bit stiff. That was the only form of agression of any type by a tiger player for the whole night and he gets cited for it.

Is he still on the list ? :banghead absolute spud

I believe McGuane was a better third tall than A.Edwards. Edwards does not crash the packs or take the big contested mark like McGuane did nor does he stick his tackles like Luke did. A.Edwards was awarded games going into the finals after playing GWS and Essendon and dominating. A.Edwards can be a great lead, kick for goal and deliver of the ball to the other forwards when he gets the ball outside the F50 but he goes missing far too easily.
A.Edwards is a small big man. He reminds me of Pettifer(sp?) who would have been the next Richo with a more accurate kick if only he could be another 10cm taller. When the ball hits the ground he goes missing, when he is opposed a taller defender he can't mark. He just doesn't have enough tricks to gain the ball but when he has it in his hands he makes great decisions and can still kick extremely accurately.
I would prefer to let Griffiths take his spot or play Knights, Newman or a resting midfielder rather than A.Edwards at this stage.

How can we appeal and get him life?
